  1. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Oct 10, 2017 -> 08:39 AM) Penalty. Penalty. Penalty. Penalty. I believe mid third quarter Gruden mentioned that there were 16 *accepted* penalties
  2. Jerome Bogar officiated games are the worst
  3. Bears coaching has been atrocious tonite
  4. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Oct 9, 2017 -> 06:06 PM) Why not just walk Rizzo there? Dusty ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  5. QUOTE (KagakuOtoko @ Oct 9, 2017 -> 05:56 PM) HAHAHHA YOU SNITCH Lol, ikr. He changes his name for whatever reason, but it isn’t because he was in trouble and started a new account. Same account
  6. QUOTE (KagakuOtoko @ Oct 9, 2017 -> 05:46 PM) Is he still around? Yes. He tries to maintain anonymity but f*** it, he is Sox-35th
  7. Dusty and Maddon dueling for worst pitching change, I think Dusty jumped in the lead for good
  8. FWIW, Minnesota is 24th in the league in pass defense
  9. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Oct 9, 2017 -> 04:26 PM) He didn't even go, did he? I thought the picture he posted was from 3 years ago, which is why everyone has been making fun of him for faking the whole thing to provoke outrage He went, there is a pic on his twitter page background of him standing for the anthem. The first pic with him and his wife in jerseys was from 2014
  10. Seems like this was the worst kept secret in Hollywood
  11. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 9, 2017 -> 02:45 PM) Im somewhat shocked that there hasnt been more blow back over the Pence thing. Personally I find it pretty disrespectful to be invited to someones place of business and then you make a spectacle of yourself. Its like going to a friends house for thanksgiving and then leaving because they served turkey. Just terrible manners. Everything gets blown over, because one day later something s***tier happens

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Oct 9, 2017 -> 10:45 AM) But you can know that the Indians roughed him up by looking at other stats too Of course. Wins don’t tell much of the story but they are part of it. And dismissing them completely doesn’t really do much good. Chris Sale hasn’t been able to beat the Indians, and has been roughed up while trying. The end

QUOTE (Sox-35th @ Oct 8, 2017 -> 09:55 PM) What does a pitching win tell you about anything? pitching wins looking at an entire career dont mean all that much. But knowing that Sale hasnt been able to beat the Indians in the regular season(and they roughed him up) is kind of important going into the playoffs
  14. No, he didn’t say what we all think. He said something that sounds like he is insecure that a woman understands the game
  15. QUOTE (ptatc @ Oct 6, 2017 -> 09:46 PM) The sox are in trouble then. I don't think they will spend spend 155 mil on a pitcher like the cubs did for Lester. That is so completely beyond the point he was making
  16. Red Sox fans gonna be piiiissed
  17. QUOTE (ptatc @ Oct 6, 2017 -> 04:54 PM) Where is he? ESPN St. Louis

QUOTE (flavum @ Oct 6, 2017 -> 11:17 AM) It would pretty sad if a healthy starting pitcher got shut down during the season, that may or may not help him in October. He made his starts and led baseball with only 214.1 innings. He just had a bad game. Honestly his last couple months haven’t been up to his standards. It’s not just a bad start, and it falls in line with what we have seen. He tires, giving him a little time to recover isn’t a terrible thing
  19. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Oct 5, 2017 -> 05:50 PM) Read some story this year that Sale went away from the White Sox plan the last couple years of keeping his effort lower so he'd last longer into the season. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/...nth_extra::none Scroll down to his month numbers and you can see he clearly faded
  20. This kind of reminds me of a September start between Detroit and the White Sox, where the sox would have a glimmer of hope for possible wildcard birth “if only they could beat Detroit....”. Verlander would rise to the challenge is Sale would give up 5.
  21. Replay kind of f***ed the Astros, Gattis should be on third
  22. If Nats let this go 5 games, they are gonna lose
  23. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Oct 5, 2017 -> 11:06 AM) 1) this is a pretty obvious conclusion. Owning a car increases your likelihood of being in an auto-accident, ban cars! 2) who cares? It's a choice. Give people the info they need if you really want to (though, see #1, it's common sense). If you have someone in your family that has rage/anger issues and/or is suicidal or has depression or anxiety, probably not the best idea to have guns readily available. No, that’s the extreme conclusion. Automobiles have safety regulation, they are tested many times for multiple scenarios and things like seatbelts became mandatory and airbags are in pretty much all new vehicles. And vehicles that are considered dangerous, not street worthy, you are not allowed to drive. Yea, some cars can possibly reach 200MPH, but you don’t see rocket powered cars or nascar capable cars driving around your block every day? Why? Because that s*** is unsafe and we all know it. Something has to be done, a compromise needs to be made somewhere. People shouldn’t be able to easily modify their guns to become an automatic weapon as easy as he did. If you are stocking up on ammo, someone somewhere should ask “why is this happening? Why does he need this?”
