  1. Lmao teams have been bad before, for a long period of time that could be construed as screwing over the fans and not trying to win. Have you ever looked at the athletics? Like, ever? How about the Astros? Look at the Astros a decade ago, come on man the league isn’t saving us. JR isn’t Donald Sterling
  2. Everyone watch out for the scary mob
  3. Lmao the mlb and specifically the Commish is not saving this organization from the owner (who is paying the commish)
  4. It was weird that Tauchman chose to continue home then stop instead of trying to get back to the bag on one leg, it looked like his hammy popped a step after he rounded so it wasn’t like he was way down the line yet but I know that s%*# hurts and it hurts bad, I tore my hamstring a few years ago for the first time and do not recommend 0/10 stars. Got the big ole yucky bruise and everything
  5. You know, why not? Its vibes szn
  6. https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/pittsburgh/news/pirates-statement-missing-bucco-bricks/ yikes Pittsburgh. This is like the TLR lounge escapade turned up to 100
  7. It’s not even worth arguing with that sewing machine salesman/nepo baby nonsense. Absolute garbage
  8. Why don’t you tell us why there was no alternative? Or why you believe so strongly in everything he has done in house, that is not visible or even quantifiable? Or why we should accept him as “better than no alternative” and why it’s acceptable to be likely losing 100 for 3 straight seasons and very little signs of turning this thing upward? While I definitely agree that he didn’t have a good hand coming in here, I don’t see anything by way of upward movement, and it’s really hard for me to sit here and agree with the idea “well there was nothing better that could have been done” because you have accepted that Jerry did the cheapest bullshit fix he could think of
  9. I mean, back then nobody knew what you are talking about just like today ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  10. I think Stone has a few things in his favor, one he is a hall of fame player who has famously carried over his knowledge to the booth for a long time, and to me Stone would definitely be a guy who would say “pay me what I’m worth” and point to his bonafides. He has been with the org for a long time now, through multiple partners, and he is friends with the owner. Plus, part of the job is appearances and such which are also part of his salary. just my opinion, he could very much make closer to what you think
  11. I think he is over 1M per season, yea.
  12. Let’s all remember there was a small one person movement a few months ago to change this team to a packers “fan owned” model. just thought that should be mentioned here no reason why
  13. Look, if someone told me they were going to pay me millions to watch shitty baseball and be a dick to whomever I wanted and also I get whatever long road trips I want off…..I’m taking the job
  14. I have to admit I am very surprised he continues with social media because it doesn’t seem to work well with him being wrong lol
  15. Stone Pony operates on a different plane of existence from us plebes
  16. I mean yea, but you don’t have to piss on the rubble too
  17. I think we should wait and see what the Bears announce before we go down this rabbit hole
  18. So, it’s definitely a different dynamic on the surface of the bat, and im kind of surprised there isn’t a uniform design concept on the barrel of the bat that needs to be adhered to
  19. It’s just how he condescendingly and confidently says he will NOT be getting info from pitching ninja
