  1. And I’m not defending them sending him down, but it happened. And it kind of seems like he is scuffling in the same fashion, so maybe it was right. more time with the major league staff could have helped but it’s water under the bridge now
  2. Those Yankees also benefitted from some juicing if my memory serves. Torre should be on that list too
  3. You would think the contingency of Sosa depended on the return being requested
  4. I thought they were gonna give him a shot like they did to show he can stay hot and get to Major league pitching. I was pretty surprised he went down with Vaughn and I said as much when it happened, I thought they would give him a month or more. But they didn’t, so by my reasoning they are letting him get right in Charlotte again(hopefully) and come up mid season when the trades hopefully happen and the roster spot is just there for him. I just think the hole in that bat is a bad one, and major league pitching knows it. I hope I’m wrong
  5. Again, I said I did not want him sent down. It’s just not worth crying over
  6. I have said multiple times I didn’t want him sent down, I just understand that he will come back and whining that “the Sox must not have him in his plans” every day changes nothing and honestly shows that you didn’t care that he couldn’t hit the broadside of the barn when major league pitching saw where to pitch him. he is just a guy. When he comes back he will most likely remain a guy, but if you wanna pine for him, it’s all you buddy 👍🏼
  7. I love that DA is receipt-keeping for this era of JR White Sox baseball lol
  8. https://www.nfl.com/news/four-time-lions-pro-bowl-c-frank-ragnow-to-retire-after-seven-seasons-in-nfl Lions C Frank Ragnow is retiring after 7 years. Lions are really gonna be in an uphill climb if they can’t keep Goff upright
  9. Omg you guys just found out about Elko in the last three months, and now he is indespensible and everything they needed but clearly they have tossed him to the curb never to return holy s%*# he was sent down 10 DAYS AGO
  10. Keeping him this season was an absolutely horrific decision. He should have been first on the block in November solely due to his health issues, but now we have terrible offense to lower the value even more
  11. Rick please stop talking about this
  12. That Getty photo really doesn’t make it better at all lmao
  13. After watching the replay of the out of the baseline incident that caused the benches to clear, that was quite a b**** move by Mayo to try and draw some sort of interference call from the ump
  14. Altavilla looks like a create-a-player
  15. Votto was a different dude. If his career was in New York or LA he would probably be legendary right now just waiting for that bust into cooperstown
  16. Is that Black Jacks lesser known but equally tall brother
  17. That’s because the result was largely the same!!!
  18. No, say it right, it is “Thank God for the Rockies”
  19. It’s like The Sox are riding the leading edge of a stormfront that is changing the times or their last two games lol
  20. In what world is being in the bottom five in attendance “not a bad number”? Honestly all you do is excuse the bullshit and then continue to ask why they keep giving us bullshit
  21. @Tomas I do have to say, we hear you. We know how much you hate this team and org. I browsed your posts, and I can see you are very mad lol
  22. I have never agreed with anything you have said as much as this. If the (Thank God for the) Rockies didn’t happen to be on their way to shattering the Sox record last season I don’t think we would be patting ourselves on the backs for +3 in the win column from 24 to 25
  23. Lmao. Tray, be serious. Nobody gets their panties in a bunch about anything around here more than you. If we merely mention the numbers “78” then you get so upset you just wanna fight people Oh boy thank god for you and reinsdorf.
  24. Pacers should end this series
