QUOTE(I-HATE-CREDE @ Jun 3, 2005 -> 04:30 PM) You love the new offense? The same one that scores barely 4 runs a game? Why? Luckily are pitching only gives up 3 runs a game usually unless ozzie is an idiot and puts walker, vizcaino, or shingo in

Cleveland Indians@Chicago Whitesox 6-3-05
QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 3, 2005 -> 03:40 PM) Pretty sure he's DH'ing since he rested Wednesday. But is his strained hip flexor gunna hold him out of tonights lineup?

Cleveland Indians@Chicago Whitesox 6-3-05
With Jake westbrock pitching i think the sox well be able to score atleast 5 runs tonight. Are bullpen is rested so we dont have to deal with any of the fiascos that went on last game. El duque will hopefully go 6-7 innings then we can turn it over to the bullpen i think the sox win 5-3 tonight.

QUOTE(nvxplorer @ Jun 3, 2005 -> 03:05 PM) If Konerko had to have a day off, why wasn't Ozuna playing first? At least he's played the infield his whole career. Because ozzie loves timo

Bmac is not a superstar and noone knows if he will so why not trade him for a superstar.

QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ Jun 3, 2005 -> 01:24 PM) btw, in my fantasy "nobody's injured" world they are probably a top 7 team, at the very lowest. and what are the whitesox?

QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ Jun 3, 2005 -> 12:53 PM) He pitched well in that game and got shelled by the Rangers. The Cubs are one of the top 13 teams in the bigs, in my opinion. But he didnt get "shelled" by the cubs and you said a good team would shell him and you claim the cubs are good im confused.

QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ Jun 3, 2005 -> 12:50 PM) McCarthy is not quite ready for the bigs. He needs a little more tick at the minors and a little more movement and command of the strike zone. He comes up again and faces a good team, he'll likely get shelled again. I agree thats why Bmac is in the minors right now but at least we have a back up starter!

QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 3, 2005 -> 12:47 PM) The difference is that they have 2 injury prone pitchers and those are their top 2 starters(Or atleast what they say). We have 1, and he is our 5 starter. And he was signed by planning on missing 5-10 of his starts, as noted by the public comments of our GM. Plus we have Bmac to pitch when el duque cant. So right now we have 6 healthy starters.

QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ Jun 3, 2005 -> 12:32 PM) Fair enough, but since 1987 no one has started more than 37, and since the mid 90s no one has started more than 36. With a 5 man rotation, the most you'll get is 34, maybe 35. I'd be willing to bet El Duque has missed more games than Wood the past 5 years... or at least it's close. I see El duque and wood there not the 2005 cubs & whitesox

QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ Jun 3, 2005 -> 12:34 PM) We are comparing the Cubs and the White Sox. I think it's fair game to compare one old, injured starter to one young, injured starter. When your young your body is top physical condition if wood is this injury prone now just imagine how he will be when he 30 let alone 35-40 if he makes it there
