2011 White Sox Catch-All Thread
You will never see ticket prices go down. Payroll does not affect ticket prices.

9/10/11 - GT Sox vs. Cle
Boy that Rios kid is special. Look for some good things from him next year.

9/10/11 - GT Sox vs. Cle
I look forward to greg's response if we somehow pull this out. A win to him equals a good game managing by Ozzie no matter how awful the managing was. And yes this includes putting together the lineup card. EDIT: LOL

Remove me from this odd conversation.

The GREAT Daniel Hudson
He's turned into Bruce Chen when he faces the Sox. Nearly unbeatable.

Next years advertisement campaign
QUOTE (Rooftop Shots @ Sep 10, 2011 -> 07:04 AM) With some of our payroll being strapped on 2 players that gave us sub-par high school performances this year, and as far as what we are able to do next year because of it...................... Mucho Dunn-y-Rios (Dineros) may kill us again. LOL We need to resurrect that thread of puns.

I think this whole flag this is getting blown out of proportion.

9/11 10th Anniversary threat
A little off topic but interesting if you work downtown. Would the Sears Tower have survived 9/11?

QUOTE (God Loves The Infantry @ Sep 9, 2011 -> 03:33 PM) Why exactly are we obligated to care how those people feel about American flags? I didn't catch the part where American flags were not going to be used.

Congratulations on #2000, Pierre
QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Sep 9, 2011 -> 03:32 PM) Again, outs made, like hits, are better reflected by this statistic called BATTING AVERAGE. We give up. Juan Pierre is the greatest player in White Sox history. Without him, we would have won 4 or 5 games this year.

Zero empathy for this woman.

Brent Morel
You pretty much have to stick with Morel since we're most likely going to have a smaller payroll next year with a dip in ticket sales. They're not going to try signing anyone to play the position.

Congratulations on #2000, Pierre
QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Sep 9, 2011 -> 10:32 AM) Hmmm. Juan had a s***ty April, and he might have cost us 1-2 games, but it seems to me that the bullpen and other factors had much more to do with it. Hence why I said one of the keys to us having a terrible start. I didn't say it was all his fault.

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 9, 2011 -> 10:22 AM) You can tell how much his teammates like him by their reaction last night Can you explain this to those of us who've stopped watching?

Official 2011-2012 NFL Thread
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 9, 2011 -> 08:34 AM) I'd like to note that I'm impressed about the number of people saying a team that gave up 34 points at home, didn't make a strong showing on defense, and was 1 yard away from a chance to tie the game at the end, is the class of the NFC. The Saints offense will end up being top 3 this year IMO. There aren't many defenses that could have done better.

Congratulations on #2000, Pierre
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 9, 2011 -> 08:32 AM) OzzieGuillen Ozzie Guillen Juan 2000 hits 500 stolen bases right now where do u think he is. The gym. Love this kid You certainly cannot question the guy's work ethic.

Congratulations on Single #1668, Pierre
Juan never wears his wedding ring so he can tell people he's single.

QUOTE (Lemon_44 @ Sep 9, 2011 -> 04:53 AM) What did he get his money based on then? I don't get the bashing of JP. He's near the bottom when it comes to problems on the Sox this year. He got off to a shaky start but didn't I read he's about 5th in the AL in batting average since mid-June. What more do you want from the guy? He's had some big hits earlier and did a nice job as the leadoff man. Next to Konerko, he's probably had the next best year at the plate out of the rest of the Sox. Obviously not in April when he was one of the keys to us starting 11-22.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 8, 2011 -> 05:04 PM) Keep creating irrelevant issues to support your clear and obvious bias towards anything conservative. We're all out to get you. This really made no sense when taking into account what you bolded and quoted.
