I should have just flown to Houston and attended the game. The Sox are 1-0 in the post-season when playing at Houston when I am in attendance (Game 4, 2005).

Uh oh, Greg. I guess you'll only have podcasts and blogs to refer to now for anti-vax content.

Biden stated that he would cure cancer during his term. That's encouraging. EDIT: I hope my sarcasm is extremely obvious in the 2nd sentence.

Started watching the Sopranos for the first time recently. Just finished season 2 last night. Really good so far. I'm assuming watching the prequel movie should be ok this weekend since I know most of the main characters.

https://gizmodo.com/anti-vaccine-cartoonist-ben-garrison-says-hes-got-covid-1847749901 “We’re taking Ivermectin and various vitamins including a lot of Zinc,” Garrison continued, explaining what he’s doing to treat the disease. The cartoonist also notes he’s taking beet root juice. None of this has been proven to treat or prevent covid-19, with monoclonal antibodies and vaccines being the only real ways to fight this pandemic, which is still raging in many parts of the world. ... “I would never go to a hospital with Covid. Robert David Steele did it a few weeks ago and they killed him. The hospitals get extra money for Covid death reports, which is necessary to keep fear ramped up,” Garrison claimed in an email to Gizmodo.

I also think Greg has confused the words cure and vaccine.

The vaccine does reduce the spread per the CDC. Not sure what the rate of spread is with the vaccine vs. without.

I think there's a serious problem with people who push ideas with no real facts behind them. Every post of yours in this thread is just anecdotal and "gut-based" with no basis in fact or science. And then you spend an inordinate time putting entertainers on a pedestal as some sort of all-knowing truth-tellers. It's hard to take people like you seriously.

Official 2018-19 NFL Thread
If I were a betting man, the Bears will have less wins next year than this year and bounce back in 2020. Getting a first place schedule and just a few draft picks should hurt them a bit. They were pretty healthy this year too which can easily change next year.

As a Raiders fan, at least it gives me comfort that the Bears had the same result as the Raiders playoff push in 2016 with Mack. A first-round exit and Mack not showing up in a critical game. At least we're not on the hook for that insane contract.
