  1. Yes that Byron Russel thing was rather assholish.
  2. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 26, 2011 -> 04:20 PM) Lebron's more of the oblivious, spoiled douche whereas Jordan was really just an asshole. That's pretty spot on.
  3. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 26, 2011 -> 04:15 PM) Why does everything have to be f***ing Jordan!? Because LeBron is a self-anointed King!
  4. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 26, 2011 -> 04:10 PM) I have no problem with LeBron doing it. LeBron thinks hes the MVP, hes proving it on the court and hes showing the media that the title means nothing. He needs to grow up. I couldn't imagine Derrick being so petty if the roles were reversed in this situation. Also:
  5. Can Lebron act like a more whiny, immature douche by referring to Rose as "MVP" or "The MVP" in his recent interviews? God I despise him.
  6. QUOTE (Cali @ May 26, 2011 -> 04:00 PM) Okay Let's see if Ozzie can understand this simple point: PITCH AROUND JOSE BAUTISTA! No first pitch fastball's EVER. He will be ALL OVER IT and if it's enter cut he will hit it to the CN Tower. If there's a runner on second and an open base WALK HIM. Yeah right. Since when does Ozzie ever have our guy pitch around someone?
  7. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 26, 2011 -> 03:44 PM) If you go back to the beginning of those whole thing that was the point. in this series Miami has bought into playing defense like they never have have before. Admittedly I haven't watched the Heat against Philly or Boston but looking at the box scores it looks like Lebron and company were equally as stifling.
  8. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 26, 2011 -> 03:42 PM) New boss, same as the old boss etc. Indeed
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 26, 2011 -> 03:35 PM) None of that has much to do with how he takes plays off on defense. The guy has been outstanding on the defensive end in this series.
  10. The 3 of you should get together and mud wrestle tonight.
  11. New Tesla 2.5 roadster gets 119 MPGe rating, the best in the world. Now if I could afford one.
  12. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 26, 2011 -> 01:48 PM) I won't believe that's the case until I hear it from both MM and J4L. MM doesn't follow the NBA.
  13. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 26, 2011 -> 01:46 PM) Which is also why I'm so pessimistic on the next couple years all of a sudden. I think you're being overly pessimistic about the Bulls' chances going forward. And I'm Mr Doom and Gloom.
  14. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 26, 2011 -> 01:45 PM) What's the odds of getting your phone hacked? This is something I'm going to scrutinize before I get an NFC device.
  15. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ May 26, 2011 -> 01:42 PM) Quick question: I have been saving the Bulls highlights from each playoff game into my computer. the plan was to create a tribute video if the made it to the finals, or won the championship. If the Bulls fail to make the finals, should I still make the video? I would just wipe the hard drive.
  16. I'm debating whether I want to even watch the game tonight. The last 3 games have resulted in me going to bed and laying there angry for several hours, not being able to fall asleep. And the chance of seeing Douche James celebrating after a victory nauseates me.
  17. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 26, 2011 -> 01:32 PM) The rest sounds awesome. Agreed. f*** carrying around a wallet of credit cards.
  18. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 26, 2011 -> 01:28 PM) You can't obviously just hand the Heat the next 5 titles. I think what Balta means, and I've said this many times, that no team is set up better to, well, flat dominate for the next 5 years than the Heat are. They're a win away from the finals and they've been together for like 5 minutes. Everybody talked about how bad their supporting cast was. And again, a win away from the finals. I don't mean to sound repetitive (and I admit I have a nasty habit with that), but superstars win out in the NBA. The Bulls had Jordan. He took a break and the Rockets had Hakeem. Shaq, Kobe and Duncan have collected like every ring since 2000. Now it's the Heat. There are no other stars in this league that can elevate their game to elite status within the next few years. Durant/Westbrook will get worse, Rose/(whichever shooter they acquire) will suck, Melo/Stoudemire will lose 60 games, etc. It's a forgone conclusion. The Heat will sweep their way through the playoffs for 5 more years. And Wade will become even healthier as he gets older.
  19. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 26, 2011 -> 01:28 PM) Doesn't mean the coke machines will all be replaced. That's the weak link in things like this. Vending machines are operated by independent organizations and most likely they wouldn't budget for a whole fleet refresh. The starbucks ap on my iPhone at strabucks is very awesome though Why are you focusing on vending machines? There are a limitless number of uses for this such as... ...which is from the original article.
  20. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 26, 2011 -> 01:25 PM) Yeah good luck refreshing all coke machines. I use this feature on my phone at Starbucks. You do realize Apple will be implementing a similar system in their phone too, right?
  21. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 26, 2011 -> 01:11 PM) Except for when they had a chance to win Game 4 with a couple seconds left. Or had it tied late in the 4th in Game 3. Yeah. Other than that they had no hope.
  22. Any chance a Bill Cartwright or Kareem works with Noah in the offseason on figuring out how to actually be a scorer down low?

    2011 TV Thread

    QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 25, 2011 -> 09:43 PM) The SNL this weekend with Timberlake was awesome. I think Justin is the new Baldwin.. Really? I thought the first couple of skits were unbearable and turned it off.
