Its not the screen or running programs anymore, its when it has to search for a cell signal, like when I'm inside a bldg with bad signal. No way that needs to take up that much power, hell my BB was used in the same locations with the same wireless provider and lasted me 3 days at a time. I'd bet they will find some processing efficiencies there. G-Talk is google chat. BTW, big fan of the Battery Left Widget.
