QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 11:49 AM) Boy, this has to be driving the people at Baseball Tonight crazy. If Sox wins they'll have to bury it in about the 45th minute and then stress how well the Yankees starting pitching threw. If Yankees win they'll have to do the first 15 minutes on how this series exposed the Sox and showed how good the Yankees are <{POST_SNAPBACK}> -

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Aug 2, 2005 -> 06:12 PM) Blue Jays broadcast suggests Ozzie's trying to get the team and crowd fired up. Sounds good to me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i think he is just protecting garland and the pitching staff....very good move...now he can tell JG that the bad stuff wasn't due to him...he really does a great job at distracting attention away from the teams mistakes and onto himself.

Monday Matinee Game Thread 8-1-05
whitesoxmanager replied to aboz56's topic in 2005 Season in Review
Ozzie Guillen is into each pitch. He is always on the top step, first to congratulate players, never gets down on anyone, is almost always standing in the dugout to evaluate the game, and looks like he is really having fun! When he was announced manager, I was so wrong about how much he respects the game, and how the players would respect him. -
