  1. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 15, 2009 -> 03:03 PM) I was just thinking how it was funny that it was all of the sudden a bad thing to talk bad about the President again. Weird. now criticizing the president is 'dangerous treason'. duh.
  2. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Apr 15, 2009 -> 03:03 PM) This Tea Party thing is a great way for the world to see how we celebrate our freedom. nice to know that is the type of person our honorable vets get lumped in with.
  3. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Apr 15, 2009 -> 02:53 PM) Plenty more of these shenanigans will surface in the next few days. It is nice to know that dissent =/= treason now that a democrat is president. Oh dissent is still treason according to the feds. Actually, there's a whole lot of things that will get in you in trouble with the Obama administration. Napolitano has decided to put all military veterans, the unemployed, and anyone that isn't a Democrat on the terrorist watch list.

QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 15, 2009 -> 02:05 PM) I'd ask for evidence but I realize your evidence is in your gut and hollow cranium. that sounds like a personal attack. those aren't allowed in here.
  5. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 15, 2009 -> 09:37 AM) http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2009/04...ngers-more.html Oh my. Can they do this? It's about time. I totally approve.

QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 15, 2009 -> 12:53 PM) they do that media matters claim to be journalists I know, and it's really a shame.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 15, 2009 -> 11:07 AM) Because nothing's more biased than showing someone's actual words as a method of proving what they said. We all know that Media Matters has CGI versions of Glenn Beck, O'Reilly, and Hannity that they use to generate their smears. your exact words, slightly modified. I'M A JOURNALIST NOW! WEE!
  8. It's official! Blago signs deal for reality TV show http://www.thrfeed.com/2009/04/blagojevich...celebrity-.html http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2009/04...ality-show.html
  9. f***ing bulls*** xbox360 just died. i don't even play it that much. microsoft junk
  10. QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Apr 14, 2009 -> 08:02 PM) Joe Cowley was saying the other day on the Score that Ozzie sometimes prints out the emails and laughs w/ media people at the proposed lineups he's sent.
  11. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 14, 2009 -> 07:11 PM) Except in 2007, when they shuttered their programs, turned over a lot of their equipment, and let the U.N. waltz right in. It was pretty effective then. the proverbial 'dog and pony show'
  12. QUOTE (103 mph screwball @ Apr 14, 2009 -> 06:48 PM) Anybody been around long enough to remember the boo's for Rick White? that wasn't that long ago. Rick White was terrible.
  13. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Apr 14, 2009 -> 01:49 PM) Im just wondering how we can quantify "amount of boos" for anyone vs anyone else. Is there a boo statistic I missed? if it's not a statistic, it should be.
  14. QUOTE (SouthsideDon48 @ Apr 14, 2009 -> 11:22 AM) A lot of white fans seem to "go easy" on white players try telling that to MacDougal
  15. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Apr 14, 2009 -> 04:35 PM) How could NK cause a major international crisis and why would China benefit? N Korea wouldn't cause it, China would. They would be super pissed if the US killed good old Kim Jong. They like having a completely subservient distraction in the area to mess with Japan. N Korea doesn't sneeze without China's approval; if China wanted a regime change they would have killed the N Korean dictator long ago. And as Balta mentioned, China does not want a major refugee thrust into their country.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Apr 14, 2009 -> 02:22 PM) Do you have ODS? Glenn Beck is deranged on a number of issues, not just Obama. The guy is a complete nut.
  17. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 14, 2009 -> 04:01 PM) I'll throw something out there... North Korea is not run amok with religious extremists or anything like that, and I think they'd recover relatively quickly under decent leadership. So I'll say it. I think they are a good candidate for a CIA-assisted coup d'etat. Thoughts? I think China likes the current leadership of NKorea, could cause a major international crisis.
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 14, 2009 -> 03:42 PM) Offer me another option? I'd love to hear it. The best I can say is to try to save as many lives as possible, use negotiations and the carrot/stick approach to try to keep their nuclear program on ice, and hope that eventually the leadership within the country falls (perhaps with some encouragement if we can ever find a group that actually starts to organize itself against the government there). I'll be the first to admit it's totally inadequate because it doesn't offer a guaranteed way out. But every other thing poster here so far is some variant of "This method sucks...ok what's your proposal....this method sucks...seriously, offer me something better...this method sucks". their nuclear program is not on ice. they are going to work on getting their weapons no matter what. there really isn't a good option. invading NKorea is not an option. expecting them to comply with any agreement is ignorant.
  19. give NKorea more bribe money. that will fix it. they always comply with agreements
  20. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 14, 2009 -> 02:57 PM) they're not as scary as Cuba though or the immanent threat of being tea bagged.
  21. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 14, 2009 -> 02:41 PM) If someone gets teabagged, are they dropping their teabag into someone's mouth or do they get a teabag inserted into theirs? on the unfortunate receiving end of the deal i believe.
  22. so i heard Obama got tea bagged sounds unpleasant
  23. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 13, 2009 -> 09:35 PM) Balterbole? doesn't have the same ring to it
  24. I think the Stone / Harrelson combo is excellent. Best in baseball
