    I've read tons of Batman... I do believe that what Nolan is giving us is more of what Frank Miller (who bid to and wrote a script for a "new batman" before Batman Begins)... Nolan gives it a perfect balance, while using Christian Bale, one of the most underrated actors in the country. I couldn't be happier with how Batman Begins wound up, and I couldn't be happier that Maggie Ghyllenhall (sp?) is replacing Katie Holmes' character too!

    I also heart when GOB is wearing his father's old suit, and the value of that suit consistently goes up... "yeah, like I'm going to take a whiz though this THREE THOUSAND dollar suit... COME ON!"
  4. The Cubs... only because they are in the NL Central. As put together right now, the white sox could win 95-100 games in the NL Central, and thats WITH pk/jt splitting time at 1B.
  5. omfg... these two were dealt/let go before the 2005 season... anyone remember that season? would you trade that season!?!?
  6. I just refuse to discuss this until I see the headline, "Rowand traded back to Sox, fans cream."

    started with Braveheart... dude knows how to make movies, too bad his personal life led people to believe he's anything other than a great guy.
  8. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 11:54 AM) For the love of God, pull the panties out of the crack of your butt. There can't be someone babysitting for requests 24-7. It'll get done, when it gets done. but i like the panties in my crack.
  9. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 11:28 AM) LOL, we will see Steve. Any more predictions, Nostradamus? Sure. Clemens will win fewer than 7 games this year.
  10. or don't. its only been a highly successful way to weed the bulls*** out of palehose talk in the past... but lets continue to use that forum for bad trade rumors.
  11. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 11:24 AM) I think he should pitch first before you decide that. He was pretty damn good for the past, I dont know, 20 years of his career yeah... 28 mill for a guy who can't take the mound... i dont need to see him pitch for a team that's not making the playoffs. when he does finally show up, hell get raped in the AL. when we're talking salary coupled with performance, he takes the cake.
  12. QUOTE(Wedge @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 11:22 AM) eye of gossage and toe of sutter? finger of rivera
  13. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 11:15 AM) Abreu is one of the worst players in baseball when you combine his production with his salary. Roger Clemens takes the cake... but Abreu follows soon after and Soriano is not far behind.
  14. QUOTE(Shadows @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 10:40 AM) Man, that is WEAK He has a fatigued groin? Man, every time I fatigue my groin I can still function perfectly fine.. Yeah man, after last night, my groin was quite fatigued... i slept it off, woke up, and wowsa, working fine.
  15. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 10:41 AM) knee pads hey, either way, he makes money.
  16. QUOTE(Shadows @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 10:41 AM) everyone else was doing it, and its well documented that Steve is cool like Fonzie.. so naturally, I had to follow suit
  17. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 10:39 AM) what is royce ring up to? Pads?
  18. someone open up "Trade Winds."

    QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 10:11 AM) I thought the Val Kilmer "Batman Forever" was good simply because Jim Carrey embodied the insane ideals of the Riddler so well. However, it was another Joel Schumacher "vision" so the bad guys had neon covered guns and every scene inside of a building looked like a rave. Tommy Lee Jones as Two Face was forgettable. Not horrible, but he just wasnt there. Batman Forever was complete dogs***.
  20. QUOTE(TheOcho @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 10:25 AM) MacDougal was good last year... this year... not so much. Its just a no-brainer... relief pitcher can get hot and look great then you trade for them and they are s***... as all relievers are basically what? Failed starters? If I'm giving up a package of players... its NOT for a reliever.
  21. Regardless... how much worse than Crede can Fields be??? Please trade JOE CREDE!
  22. Bukvich has always had a solid arm. As for Fuentes... havne't we (and many other GMs) learned that dealing for relief pitching is the dumbest thing in the history of the world?
  23. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 10:06 AM) me too. Deal Crede please. I said it then, and I'll say it again... we would never have gotten more for Joe Crede than we could have in this offseason. I mean, come on, aside from getting hot at the end of 2005 and having a decent 2006, he's been a huge disappointment. I'll never forget the contributions to 2005, but Crede classically overachieved last year, elected not to have surgery to repair his back, and now we're seeing a Crede that we'd be lucky to get a garbage can for... Oh, and all the b****ing about Joe not getting a Gold Glove? End it... Chavez is the better fielder! /story.
  24. I want to see Josh Fields up, though I know it won't happen.
