QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 7, 2014 -> 12:36 PM) Khabibulin had surgery for a torn rotator cuff and is out for 4-5 months done in the NHL. http://committedindians.com/nikolai-khabib...out-4-5-months/ fixed

Wow. Damian Lillard had 26 points last night... ... IN THE 4TH QUARTER!

QUOTE (Jake @ Jan 7, 2014 -> 06:41 PM) eBay buyers have to be some of the most stupid people ever. I frequently see things going for more than their retail price. It's the competitive nature in people. It was at $150 until about 5 minutes left. Then can't lose mentality kicks in. Advantage me.

QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 7, 2014 -> 05:48 AM) I'm not going to play Moral Police but I don't see how you can watch movies on a computer. I'd rather pay and see it on a big screen if I can. I'll rent Documentaries and Indy films and watch them on my ipad on the train rides but would prefer big screens more often than not. USB drives be crazy.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 7, 2014 -> 05:40 PM) And then the rest of the board will say what an awful signing it is and it'll never workout despite the fact every move the Heat have made since July, 2010 has worked out. I think it'd work out pretty well. Bynum didn't look like a complete stiff before being deactivated.
-
So, let's be honest. The Heat are clearly going to sign Bynum for league minimum.

QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jan 7, 2014 -> 04:04 PM) Warriors interested in Hinrich? If you can get ANYTHING for Hinrich, do it now. That's hilarious.

Wow. I sold my wife's s***ty year-old Kindle Fire HD 8.9 and was able to get the new model Nexus 7 for her for not much more. People are dumb. Why would anyone drop $190 on a year-old Kindle Fire HD. The f***ing thing is $229 brand new.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 7, 2014 -> 06:39 AM) Yeah the pick is essentially worthless after 3 years. Bulls fans are now Kings fans. Bah, missed that part. Go DeMarcus!!!

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jan 7, 2014 -> 05:10 AM) As Row pointed out, they offered him an extension just last week. They wanted to keep him, but Luol thought he was worth Josh Smith money, actually more. That sealed his fate. Like I said, that was not too long ago Bulls were in on keeping him. Two weeks later, things changed. Still better than any rumor/prediction you've ever said on this site. Oh come on - even the biggest Luol Deng hater would say that 3/30 is a massive lowball offer. Tuck your tail, son. PS I did not post my blatant Derrick Rose lie of an article on this site.

Draft picks are so valuable in the NBA... I can't believe the Bulls pulled this off. The Kings are hilarious right now, too, and making themselves worse with every trade. That's going to wind up being a lottery pick.
-
This trade is a Festivus miracle. More work is to be done, though, as Thibs is going to want to win at all costs. The only downside of a massive tank job is the fact the TT will not be happy. Also, I hope they keep Jimmy at SG. Beyond that, good luck to Lu. He's a good guy, and he's been with us for f***ing ever.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 01:14 PM) Unless the Bulls FO suddenly changed their minds from the past week or two from whom I've talked to, I'm not buying this B.S. LOL sources

QUOTE (Jake @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 07:48 PM) I thought I was crazy when I felt that way at an in-store demo. Every review site will say the same. It's 3 year newer tech. Also why it costs more, but totally worth the extra $20.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 05:27 PM) Now you'll want the regular and the big. It seems I am collecting bluetooth speakers. Apparently the Mini sounds better than the regular, so I'll pass on that!

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 06:57 PM) It's in our edition and definitely on the outside of the house. Weird it was just the hot water though. Hot water freezes quicker that cold water. Fact.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 03:14 PM) Wait what? That picture was part of a news story? I'm so confused. There's this new website called Google. You can enter search terms of things you're interested in finding. In this case, I entered "woman takes selfie with suicidal man" and the top result was the story. http://nypost.com/2013/12/04/selfie-ish-wo...h-suicidal-man/

I went out and started my car a half hour ago. Boy, did it sound s***ty but it turned over. I let it run for 20 minutes and then took it for a quick ride. Here's hoping it works in a couple hours.

QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 01:28 PM) Why is NYDN breaking all of this Bulls stuff? Because they do not fear a made up story and never have. :-D

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 01:16 PM) Not telling. But if there's news to report, I will make sure I give my interview to Flapship right away. Send it to Soxbadger.

Handzus still blows. Not news.

The Bulls’ game-plan for the immediate future is coming into focus. League sources with knowledge of Chicago’s plans say that they’ll definitely be looking to deal Luol Deng before the Feb. 20 trading deadline. Deng is a free agent this summer and the Bulls don’t want to pay him anything close to top dollar. The second part of their house-cleaning: They intend on using their amnesty move this coming summer to part ways with Carlos Boozer. Boozer is scheduled to make $16.8 million next season. As we reported earlier, Derrick Rose has caught wind of the plans and is none too thrilled about being part of a rebuilding project. Tom Thibodeau won’t be very happy with it, either. http://m.nydailynews.com/1.1566399 No time like the present, Bulls...

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 12:10 PM) Clay Matthews, Casey Hayward, Brian Bulaga, Johnny Jolly, Jemichael Finley, Brandon Bostick, Jonathan Franklin, DuJuan Harris. Lot's of good players in that list. You're not going to get any sympathy on a board comprised of mostly Bears fans.

Is there any advantage to going out and starting my car periodically today? I honestly can't seem to find anything about that on the great interwebs, so I assume it's rubbish. Then I found this: If the car starts in the morning after cold-soaking all night, it certainly should start after 8 hours parked in the office parking lot. If you've got a garage baby that won't start after a day out-of-doors and needs to be started every 4 hours, maybe it's time to change the plugs and get it running right. If you start a cold engine and idle it for 10 minutes every day, you stand the chance of diluting the oil with unburned fuel that never gets a chance to burn off. That could cause premature engine wear--not to mention needlessly burning up some expensive gasoline.
