QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Feb 10, 2012 -> 07:57 AM) Anybody that has "Ten" as a top ten album, needs a lesson in music history. I wouldn't even put it in the top ten albums of the '90s. Oh get the f*** over yourself. This is why all music discussions are inherently stupid. People like what they like, and saying something as ridiculously offputting as you did above makes me want to find you and punch you in the nose. Who are you to say what other people should enjoy when it comes to music?

Meh, give me Soundgarden or Chains. Pearl Jam blows.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 9, 2012 -> 07:57 PM) And why is Joe Johnson getting a lifetime achievement spot? Yeah, that's weak, but SG on the whole are weak. JJ is better than anyone who missed (unless you want to call Paul Pierce a shooting guard).

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 9, 2012 -> 07:43 PM) I know. I'm being a fool. But just the extremely remote possibility of a Dwight/Rose pairing is too much for me to totally ignore. Man, you're set up for the next 5-6 years with those two in this hideous conference. Shaq/Kobe lite. I just want you to tell me more about the dominant Knicks and how the addition of Tyson makes them as good if not better than the Bulls.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 9, 2012 -> 12:38 PM) A lot of time, their is unused protein in feces. Wolves will eat it in the wild quite often. Fantastic story.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Feb 8, 2012 -> 03:21 PM) How Kenny has kept his job is beyond me. Dunn.Peavy. Rios. Those are the kind of baseball players who get a guy fired. If Reed fails at closer, he also gave away the Sox only closer candidate for this season. Sergio for nothing. Real wise. Oh I forgot. Ozzie didn't have to play Rios and Dunn so that takes Kenny off the hook. Oz is at fault for playing them. Why do you type every sentence on it's own line? Is that your calling card? Aside from the insanity contained within, I can always tell a greg775 post visually because of that strange method.

QUOTE (Tex @ Feb 9, 2012 -> 12:27 PM) The biters where two from the same litter I had since they were kittens. Literally they would be purring, stretched out and then snap with the bite. Some sort of learned behavior from their littermates or momma. Cats can be real shifty f***ers, that's for sure.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 9, 2012 -> 09:09 AM) All of the main characters from First Class are signed on for a 3 picture deal IIRC. Wolverine I am very skeptical about, that is a tentpole franchise that has been totally ham-handed the entire way. I watch that Wolverine movie and still wonder if the director ever read a Wolverine comic or if they just watched the 90s XMen cartoon. Fox has this intensely brutal, animalistic character that they are turning into a love-lost sappy action hero. Yeah, it's pretty woeful. Wolverine was such a comic badass. What they could do with the Magneto/Adamantium ripping storyline... space travel, everything, it would be tight. Or at least give us an actual badass Wolverine movie with him hucking around Canada and dealing with his demons (and bar fights, lots of bar fights).

QUOTE (G&T @ Feb 9, 2012 -> 12:31 PM) I want to know what dogs taste too. I've read they don't have many taste buds so they don't really notice that they eat the same thing all the time, but our sense of taste is connected to scent as well. And dogs smell everything. So I'm of the mind that variety is somewhat important. My dog loves apples and cheese. Dogs will eat anything. They eat their own s*** for crying out loud.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 9, 2012 -> 12:20 PM) This is one instance where I would look at his amount of yards and ask you "have you seen him play?" Im not a big fan of the eye test, but i have never wanted a WR so far away from this team as I have wanted Knox. Im not going to argue with people who think he is a fine 3rd option. To me he is a microcosm of what has been wrong with Bears WRs in the past......well, forever. Small, questionable hands, horrible routerunner, cannot block, but he is fast so people think he is worth something. I will pass. I agree with this entire statement. Knox sucks and also helped to ruin our season.

As for the question at hand. Cats and dogs are, for the most part, meant to be domesticated. For generations they've been raised in captivity, and when you see a stray, it's sad. They don't have the same instincts as say wolves and rabbits to fend for themselves (at least, to my understanding). Sure, they can survive, and I know there are cats out there who do a fine job living outdoors without human help (I don't know about dogs, not saying they don't), but they have been domesticated over the years and fending for themselves is something you don't expect. I see a homeless guy and I just assume he's a whackjob, or he boozed himself out of house and home. I am certain that I am wrong at LEAST 87% of the time, but that's what I assume. Also, cats and dogs might attack, but they likely won't have knives and they certainly don't have the cognitive ability of a crazed, drunken, homeless human!

QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 9, 2012 -> 11:23 AM) I was thinking more or less after you had them in your possession or whatever. Why would you bring a stray cat into your possession? Any stray animal can be carrying a host of diseases. I'm sure if you decided to wrap up a stray dog and it bit you, that bite would be worse than the cat's. Cats are very careful creatures, the chances of catching a stray one are pretty remote. QUOTE (Tex @ Feb 9, 2012 -> 11:30 AM) Then I agree. I have had a couple biter cats. They will be purring, enjoying a nice back rub and *snap* they are biting my hand. And I've had some nasty scratches from wresting with them. Cats will normally give warning. They get their fill, stop messing with them. Also, if you get nasty scratches from wrestling cats, maybe you should stop all the backyard cat wrastlin'.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 8, 2012 -> 09:28 PM) Dwight just went for 25 and 24 against the Heat. But yes, let's not underestimate Noah's help defense on LeBron. Noah, Deng, that worthless until 2016 Bobcats pick, and another non-Rose related asset for Dwight. Make.it.happen. Sorry, if he won't extend then f*** that. Honestly, it's all about extension. I guarantee the Magic would take Noah, Taj, and that pick and we could still keep Deng. No doubt in my mind. But if Dwight refuses to re-sign, we are f***ed. Dwight is a huge p****.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 8, 2012 -> 06:33 PM) I refuse to believe Lu has averaged 35 mpg over the last 5 full seasons if you count total games in the season. Well, yeah, but that's not the statistic that was quoted thus rendering your post silly.

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Feb 8, 2012 -> 04:34 PM) I could see M. Colston being a Bear. One of Colston or Jackson will be a Bear. I have very little doubt.

Hey Brian, guess what is on this evening?
-
Kenny Powers on Tim Tebow It's really funny if you read it in his voice.
-
I hate Jake Peavy. There! Back on track!
-
Oh, no doubt about that.

Kyle, my parents had to have one of their dogs' teeth mostly removed due to a similar situation. It was sad, but he made damn due with the ones he had left, and they were able to strengthen after that with bones. Good luck.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 8, 2012 -> 12:12 PM) Youll have to inform me what a zombia argument is as I am not familiar with the term. I would imagine it's an argument that won't die. Dude. No one ever, not once, said that Joe Paterno was the only part of a possible cover-up. He, however, was a huge part of it and the most influential man on campus.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Feb 6, 2012 -> 02:09 PM) Cats are awful. b****y, finicky, stubborn, untrainable, and lazy. We have two cats and a dog. If my wife didn't enjoy the cats, they'd be outside. One does nothing but leave hair everywhere and refuses to accept basic social boundaries (every morning at 4:30-5 when he's hungry he sits on my wife's head as she's sleeping), the other is a b**** that only enjoys being pet on HIS terms. Oh, and when he's pissed, he s***s in front of the litter box. And even though they're my wifes cats, she's pregnant, so I'm forced to clean the litter. f*** cats. Man, come on, this is a thread for talking about our "animal friends". I have two awesome cats. AWESOME. If you don't like your cats, that's your problem, but saying "f*** cats" is bulls*** in my opinion. So f you and your s***ty dog.
