  1. Someone, somewhere, needs to pay Joe Slowik to be their NBA writer.
  2. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 11, 2011 -> 10:51 AM) Angelo has to be fired for his failures on the line and with wide-outs. ...and his 0.05% draft hit rate.
  3. I'm so glad The Score decided to air a Doug Buffone rant instead of a press conference introducing the new White Sox Manager. Way to go, guys.
  4. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 11, 2011 -> 10:58 AM) Intros are starting... Kenny is going answer questions. So The Score can run a conference call, but not a press conference?
  5. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Oct 9, 2011 -> 10:08 PM) Did anyone see this? Please tell me this was a joke: Konerko Considered for Player/Manager NY Daily News makes s*** up all the time.
  6. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 11, 2011 -> 09:03 AM) Especially after watching his new commercial about 3 times last night during the game The commercial was the highlight of my night.
  7. Can we please also talk about Devin Hester? NFL record or not, this dude clearly hurts us more than he helps us in his current role. He drops open passes, and as proven previously, when he has to be on the field on offense, he is not his usual self. Catching a kickoff that is headed out of bounds, to run out of bounds at the 6, is probably the most bone-headed thing I have ever seen in a football game. That's 34 f***ing yards just given up due to stupidity.
  8. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Oct 11, 2011 -> 09:12 AM) I would not be offended or think less of Cutler if he demanded a trade after the season. I think that's a card you can only play once before losing my respect. Dude shoulda stayed in Denver instead of demanding that first one.
  9. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 10:56 PM) The D has been the strength over his tenure. Coaching isnt great, but the players are god-awful. There are two Wild Cards, but math need not be involved when discussing whether this Bears team is going to make the playoffs. They are horrendous! I believe the Bears just got called for another false start!
  10. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 10:18 PM) It just is odd. There are ways to protect your O-line, the Bears just refuse to do them. Empty sets are bad, lack of play action, no screens, no slants. Oh look play action on first down. The Mike Martz hire was destined to fail from the start.
  11. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 09:48 PM) Bears getting old and slow .................Chris Harris is all mouth no play. I believe he just tweeted again.
  12. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 09:09 PM) Brandon Meriweather is a psycho. All he does is run around the field aiming at people with his helmet. I want the Bears to cut him. He's an embarrassment.
  13. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 08:22 PM) Are we to good for fgs? What the hell. I cannot believe they passed on the opportunity to put 3 on the board on their opening drive. Players, Coaching, Management - all bad for Bears. When's the last year of Lovie's new deal? I need to know when the Bears will have a magical season to save his ass yet again.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 08:12 PM) The Bears offense looks really, really bad always. fixed
  15. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 06:35 PM) Anyone else think Angelo screwed up again with Stephen Paea DT as a 2nd round pick inactive for EVERY game so far? You do not draft players in the 2nd round not to play, good teams need them to contribute! Yes. He is possibly the league's worst drafter.
  16. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 05:47 PM) 2005 NFL Elite 11 Competition http://www.whosay.com/ChrisMortensen/photos/78008 Pictured, Jay Cutler, Jake Locker, Matthew Stafford, Tim Tebow, Josh Freeman, Ryan Mallett, Brad Smith, Tyler Palko and Pat Devlin That's tight.
  17. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 7, 2011 -> 04:02 PM) I keep thinking this is a thread on the morning after pill when I browse the forum topics. I wish it worked like that and this thread aborted the hiring.
  18. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 9, 2011 -> 06:51 PM) It's amazing how much better the Hawks play when Bolland is in the lineup He's such an important part of the roster. He's one of the best two-way forwards we've had, and he's great on the penalty kill. When Bolland is around, we have three awesome lines. When he's out, our third line goes to s***.
  19. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 09:13 AM) Nevermind, I should have kept scrolling. ESPNStatsInfo ESPN Stats & Info Tom Brady intercepted by Antonio Cromartie in the endzone to end 1st half...it was Brady's 1st ever Red Zone INT thrown at home (Has 91 TD) That is insane. Sadly, it only happened because Aaron Hernandez f***ed up. The pass was spot-on.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Oct 9, 2011 -> 01:25 AM) Is that random, or did it just start up again? Because I thought it's cycle was after Dexter. And yes, I love Shameless. Got Showtime and watched the first episode last night.

  22. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Oct 7, 2011 -> 06:15 PM) Matt Ellison says hi Good point, I guess that Sharp kid's working out alright.
