  2. I picked up 4 of these at Binny's on my lunch break. I'll have a review tomorrow, and test it during my Madden Online Franchise game tonight.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 17, 2011 -> 12:53 PM) I think he was one of Sebastian Shaws best weapons, and at the end of the movie when Shaw is watching a bullet go through his brain in slow motion, the guy is nowhere to be found. I absolutely loved when they raided the compound and he is dropping the agents to their deaths one by one, I just thought that he was a much better 1A to Shaw than just a simple henchman. It really has nothign to do with his characters history as much as it did with Azazel not being utilized much once the end scene in Cuba started. First Class was dope. I said it right after I saw it in the theater that I think it's the best non-Nolan Batman superhero flick I've seen.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 17, 2011 -> 12:51 PM) Anyone who watches BBTN instead of MLB Network is a fool
  5. Brandon Lloyd cost all of a 6th round pick.
  6. LOL, clear as day last night, you could hear Jay Cutler yell "'Tell Martz I said f*** you!'"

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 17, 2011 -> 11:06 AM) Maybe it was just that the actor didn't sell me very well on any part of the story, that could certainly play into it. I thought he was absolutely hilarious, especially as he was first on Earth. I enjoyed Thor, when I expected to think it sucked.
  8. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 17, 2011 -> 09:30 AM) do you get all the Batman and Robin skins with your pre order? It depends on where you buy, I believe. Supposedly, however, all will be an add-on a few weeks after the game releases.

The Ides of March was solid.
  12. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 13, 2011 -> 07:03 PM) 3 out of the 4 teams you mentioned have more talent than the Cubs. I don't understand this one... Theo hasn't even started the job yet. You're talking about Hendry's club.
  13. QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 14, 2011 -> 01:36 AM) Funny how he's out of a job yet Cowley still has one. The fact that the first thing you do is bring up Joe Cowley is the very reason Cowley still has a job. Love him or hate him, he's popular.
  14. What an awful can design. Nothing makes me want to drink less than thinking of an athlete's back sweat.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Oct 13, 2011 -> 11:52 PM) Oh so now you have turned "get his" to mean that I specifically meant be killed because he killed Gus' partner years ago, and not just "be killed". Might as well change "get his" to "get his big bowl of applesauce" while you are at it since you are trying to tell me what I really meant by it. I never said "for revenge", even later when it was asked what I meant by "get his" i said, "be killed by Gus", not "Gus would GET HIS revenge" or anything of that nature. Simple prediction. But seriously. This must be a joke by now. I mean, this is some Grade-A trolling, and I applaud you for it, you really had me going for a while. Wow. Stop backtracking. Hector dying and taking Gus with him is absolutely the best possible scenario for him. How that means he "got his", I will never understand. You were the opposite of correct.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Oct 13, 2011 -> 04:21 PM) It DOES NOT MATTER at what point in time in the story he decided to do, the answer is still the same. And THAT is what I had predicted earlier, that Gus would have plans to kill Hector (and he OBVIOUSLY tried to). You said Hector would "get his" in terms of having killed Gus's friend. Gus only decided to kill Hector because he thought Hector was ratting him out. Was he killing Hector to get his revenge for the murder of his buddy yay those many years ago? No. Was he killing Hector to protect himself in the event he be called to testify and/or in the event that Hector was a threat to his well-being? Yes. Your "prediction" could not have been more wrong, could still not be more wrong, and it continues to baffle me that you argue and quote yourself like that matters.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 13, 2011 -> 08:51 PM) watching "Love....And other Drugs"? I imagine he's just living in reality. HOWEVER, they don't compare to Emma Rossum's. HOLEEE s*** I LOVE YOU SHAMELESS.
  18. The Hawks looked absolutely fantastic tonight. The puck movement was phenomenal. Quenneville is the "3 games in Coach of the Year" for putting Hossa and Kaner together. They were making some magic tonight. Frolik + Bolland is becoming deadly on that third line. This team (if it can stay relatively healthy) is just going to be flat-out lethal this season. We're talking WCF minimum.

Parks & Rec was amazing tonight, but that's no surprise. The Office was just watched for the final time by me.

The second episode of Dexter was absolutely 100x better than the first this season. Well done, and now I'm back all-in on Dexter.

QUOTE (Felix @ Oct 13, 2011 -> 10:08 PM) After a couple of stinkers, Community picked it back up tonight with an excellent episode. Not sure if anyone watches it in here since there generally isn't too much talk of it, but if you stopped after the first few of this season, give it a shot. It's good. I watch it. I was really close to dropping it, but tonight was ok enough to keep me interested. Season 1 was epic, I kept waiting for season 2 to be as good and it just couldn't get there (though the paintball scenes with Josh Holloway were pretty dope), and season 3 had been rough up until this one. I wish Chang had just stayed a Spanish teach. Episodes where they work him in too much are just miserable.
  22. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Oct 12, 2011 -> 01:16 PM) He'll fail without big money. Or, more likely, he'll thrive with a higher percentage of money than his direct divisional competition. Say what you will about their cash, but they could never spend close to what the Yankees have... outspending the Cards, Brewers, Pirates, and Astros ain't no thang for the Cubs.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Oct 13, 2011 -> 02:55 PM) I don't even understand what's going on at this point. Did you seriously think that I saw the entire epic scene of Gus getting his face blown off, commented on it, and then forgot it entirely? You aren't making any sense right now. Obviously Hector killed Gus, my point was that Gus was on his way to kill Hector, that was the reason he went to the old folks home, that's the reason he had a syringe in his hand. Obviously they both died in the explosion that Hector triggered, but the point still remains that Gus was going to kill Hector. Gus was more than content to let Hector die with his thoughts as long as it took. Then Walt set the bait, initiating Gus's intent to kill. It's not rocket science, yo. There's no one in this thread who thinks you were right but yourself... doesn't that say something?
