  1. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 8, 2011 -> 12:21 AM) Thought I'd bump this due to the one year anniversary of the Decision. Holy s*** I went crazy. Actually started the day before when the Heat got Wade and Bosh. The real madness starts on page 287. And Steve, never predict anything in life again. I predict after one more beer I vomit.
  2. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 09:58 PM) Fathom in the game thread made the comparison to Johan Santana (in terms of his fastball)....obviously, that's a big jump, as we're seeing with some of the Viciedo comparisons, but at least there's some hope for the future. Ozzie Guillen taking a long time to talk to the media. Maybe he's having an extended meeting with the players. Something needs to be done to right this sinking ship. Maybe he's being fired.
  3. I see he's got that OPS up over .900. He is hot as f***. We sure couldn't use a bat like that.
  4. Sergio Santos + Phil Humber = only happy things ever.
  5. QUOTE (NIUSox @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 01:32 PM) Leaving for vacation tomorrow for two weeks. I have been looking forward to this for a long time. Cardinals game tomorrow and then Lake Norfolk in Arkansas for the rest of the time! Nice! Have fun. I was just in St. Louis over 4th of July weekend. Definitely hit Lumiere Place.
  6. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 04:44 PM) So I guess people want a new "Caylees Law" passed making it a federal crime to not report a child missing. While it seems good intentioned, its generally not the best idea to let the federal govt write more laws. The best part was on the petition it says that it will keep things from court, err you mean it just will make it easier for the govt to convict people. Eh, seems like a law that could do very little harm and a whole lot of good. It'd need to be carefully written and maybe have age levels with different rules (ie - a 3 year old missing for ANY amount of time is a problem while a 13 year old missing for a couple hours might mean Jimmy ran to the gas station to get a Mountain Dew).
  7. QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 04:41 PM) so...4 weeks later I finally saw bridesmaids. And i consider it very highly on my all-time comedy list. Damn right. Be careful though, there's women in it so people will make fun of you for seeing a "chick flick".
  8. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 02:51 PM) I feel like an asshole if I abandon her You mean the chick who texts her boyfriend whenever she's with you? She's playing you for attention.
  9. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 02:31 PM) f***ing nuts. I have never seen her act like this. I know it should be a no-brainer that I never talk to this chick again, especially after episode she had at my house, but we work together, and we text eachother for hours on end each day. So it's going to be hard to just completely cut her off, and with someone who has some many emotional problems, I don't want to make things worse by just ditching her. I don't think I will ever let her drink so much around me again, that's for damn sure. I don't care that I got to see her tits almost the whole night (and they are spectacular B cups by the way, for such a little body), because that was a scary hour or so of her melting down. This chick is just a little brat, and completely bad news. Stay away.
  10. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 02:31 PM) Lots of jokes about her "grabbing my nuts" and me "nutting on her" with the bag of peanuts that I brought. That'll do it every time.
  11. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 12:34 PM) The "circles" feature seems light years ahead of anything facebook is doing. And it looks so much easier to manage than facebook's "groups". Yes, but who cares? They are too late to the game to try to put a dent in facebook usership.

    New guy here

QUOTE (Uman85 @ Jul 6, 2011 -> 12:35 AM) Hey everyone, I didn't see an introduction thread so I thought I'd post it in here. You can delete it or move it if necessary. Just thought I'd say a quick hello and introduce myself before I start posting with you guys. I was born in Chicago, but my parents moved to Lexington, KY shortly after I was born unfortunately. I frequently go up to Chicago and visit my family and hope to move back up there as soon as I can. I love the city and the White Sox. Hope to post here a lot. It looks like a great site for Sox baseball. Go Sox! Welcome, dude!
  13. Our problems are mostly with Rios and Dunn.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 07:52 AM) Adam has been hanging on strong so far, hope he can keep it up. The way everyone keeps worrying about CT, I want him to barrel roll the whole competition. I always knew Wes was kind of a b****, but he really showed it in that last episode. "I just want him to stop, and leave me alone" Then stop talking s*** and throwing his mattress around, you steroid filled b****. Yeah, CT is really screwed because of Adam, but I have to give Adam props as he's clearly stepped up so far. As for Wes, he needs to f*** off. I like how he called CT the bully when he was the one tossing his mattress and starting s***. He was ready to cry and it was hilarious. CT is a monster, and it's really interesting to see him reserved and smart for once. We'll see if his brother's death (I believe) really did change him. It's too bad Laurel couldn't go home last night. And yes, Big Brother tonight.
  15. QUOTE (mcgrad70 @ Jul 6, 2011 -> 06:13 PM) the facts are jeter's in first place and alexi ain't Well there you have it. The Phillies have the best record in baseball. Clearly Ross Gload is one of the best players in baseball.
  16. So how long until she's in Playboy?
  17. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jul 6, 2011 -> 05:40 PM) It's most certainly possible. In a video game. Yeah, it's easy. Just edit Pujols' contact down to 1, offer the trade, then edit it right back up to 96.
  18. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 6, 2011 -> 05:44 PM) In typical Steven fashion might I add. It was just a tad more ridiculous than the serious post trying to turn Rios into Rasmus.
  19. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jul 6, 2011 -> 06:27 PM) Here is a ripe steaming pile of s***e title for a article. Really, With the abortion of our offense one decent week and we are slowing the call. Funny that his .250 batting average in July is "heating up".
  20. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 6, 2011 -> 06:24 PM) greg Walker > Wite This is undeniable fact witness!
  21. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jul 4, 2011 -> 09:14 PM) Along with most people, I've always held that the GOP is the party of patriotism. And I've always held that this is an empty bulls*** fallacy that is pretty insulting to a lot of people, myself included Wow, the first reply was the best one.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 6, 2011 -> 05:58 PM) lol@Felix vs Steve. I love it. Am I the only one that still watches Saved by the Bell on TBS? That show been comin' on that station for the last 15 years it seems. Lark Voorhies was so fine. And I don't like black girls. Every morning, I turn on the tv while I make my breakfast and am greeted with a great throwback episode of SBTB because we had Seinfeld on the night prior while prepping dinner. I used to love that show (which really is the reason I follow Mark Paul Gosselaar everywhere). Of course, it helps that he was also hilarious in "Dead Man on Campus". But yeah, I loved Saved by the Bell as a kid. Heck, even loved the College Years and the two made for tv movies they churned out.
