  1. sorry if this already asked/answered, but any update on Q?
  2. Not much love around here for Derek Rodriguez. Except from me.
  3. give him some time -- did you really expect him to get it all worked out in three starts and be back up?
  4. oh well -- we just won two series back to back. Who knows what's going to happen in LA and KC. Maybe they'll surprise even themselves. hats off to Mark for bending but not breaking today. Gutsy effort. Nice D behind him. There are positives in this one to be sure. Plus we don't lose any ground to detoilet.
  5. hawks getting spanked by the wings, to boot.
  6. i can handle the tying home run. giving up the next two hits was unacceptable.
  7. i have a very bad feeling about this upcoming road trip
  8. some defensive breaks are starting to go our way.
  9. QUOTE (JackTalkThai @ May 23, 2009 -> 03:28 PM) And Gallaraga, Polanco, Guillen, and Ordonez are all going to stay sh**** all season? I would say there's a good chance. The three hitters are nearer the end of their careers, Gallaraga might turn it around but he kind of had a freakishly good season last year. 5 games in four days vs. the boys from murder city, starting June 8th. That will be big for the Sox.
  10. Pods 8 Missile 6 JD 9 Thome dh PK 3 Q 7 AJ 2 Fields 5 Getz 4 Richard pitching damnit, i want anderson in there, not pods. (oz is in Ven, so this is on joey) (homer bailey making his first start tonight, fwiw)
  11. well, i don't think a guy who was in single A last year is going to be able to stay strong for the duration of the season. Same goes for Perry, he's going to hit some bumps. Gallaraga is coming down to earth but Jackson and Verlander look very stout. That will keep them in the running. I also doubt Miggy is going to hit .380 this season, so he's due for an adjustment. But I've always liked Inge and to think they almost gave up on him. Oh...and zoom will get hurt again this season.
  12. would love to see Q get on track
  13. i hate to say it, but facing Santana, Saunders and sox killer Weaver in the next series, a Sox sweep could offset the good chance of an Angels sweep.
  14. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 22, 2009 -> 06:41 PM) Carlos still isn't right. does this mean there is no god?
  15. anybody know why robert hudson left the game early for BIR?
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 22, 2009 -> 10:06 AM) It'd also be damn nice to get a quality start out of Gavin. i was thinking that it's going to be a total s*** storm if he gets knocked around early again.
  17. f*** him. f*** everybody. Lets win it without him.
  18. back to reality. how's lillibridge doing in charlotte?
  19. just wanted to compliment the white sox on their performance today. It takes an all around team effort to get beat 20-1 by a division rival...to fall to 6.5 games out of 1st in May. Bravo. If I'm Jake Peavy I can't wait to get on a plane and play for this inspired group of talent.
  20. it's to the point of exasperation
  21. chip away chip away chip away
