  1. i have no respect for people who arent loyal to their team....people who hop on and off badwagons make me fuccin sick to my stomach
  2. willie seemed to have some promise but i have given up completely on him
  3. good to hear people are comin out to the ballpark
  4. fucc crawford....thats all i really gotta say
  5. QUOTE(soxfan3530 @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 09:40 AM) PK is a great teammate. im sure there is more to that quote. i dont think he was trying to take anything away from pods. paulie's a classy guy and a solid player and teammate......i'm sure he didnt mean it to be insulting
  6. welcome aboard and shouts out to hawk and darren
  7. theres soo many....but my all time favorite would have to be halle berry
  8. QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 08:28 PM) In case you haven't noticed, a lot of playoff games end up that way. One of their wins was by one run also, another was by Santana, who we wouldn't see, and the other they won 10-7 in a slug fest. K-Rod did pitch one of the games by the way (allowed an earned run after starting the inning and left the bases loaded), and as I said, I think in terms of team impact, Frank and Vlad is about a draw (Frank's first two games off the DL were in the series). I like our chances if you lineup our rotation against theirs. Contreras got two starts against them, that won't happen in the playoffs. Also, we've scored more runs and our pen has a better ERA. we just have to wait and see...i have confidence in this team but we havent played the red sox yet that will be a good gauge for us to see just how good we are.....also we have played some good teams well this year...just look at our division....indians...twins...we have played both well.....we'll deal with the east when we get there...right now i'm feelin pretty confident about our chances against any team
  9. QUOTE(Nokona @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 09:22 PM) Garland doesn't look like he breathes sometimes let alone talks. Buerhle usually keeps to his own unless it involves the Cubs or the Cards. He's just a modest guy. these guys are just a couple of down to earth dudes.....they know the team hasnt really done anything yet and i think thats why they dont give too much emotion or show too much happiness or excitement.......believe me when it comes down to it and we clinch the division i'm sure you'll see and hear a little more emotion from both of them
  10. i hear ya man...i havent been this excited about the Sox since the incredible year in 2000 which ended so bitterly for me.....we need to take this momentum straight through the all-star break and create even more ground betwwen ourselves and those b****-ass twins and indians
  11. QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 06:47 PM) Game was on WCIU in CHicago and a local channel in FLorida, the locals are not included in the DirecTV package!!! that sucks
  12. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 06:35 PM) Thanks Matt, I appreciate the effort. This is a game worth saving. wish i could have seen it....i have the mlb pass on directv but for some reason the game wasnt on tonight...i hate when that s*** happens
  13. crede has a great glove....best in the league at third...i'm not so sure about that
  14. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 3, 2005 -> 04:07 PM) Actually I'd say he very muchso belongs in the game. i agree...league leader in steals....he does so much stuff on the field that doesnt show up in the box score....when he gets on base it takes so much attention away from the hitter and on to him which helps whoever may be at the plate
  15. QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 07:38 AM) I think Clemens would reject a trade here, he ony wants to go to Boston or New York thats kinda what im thinkin too....it would be great if we could somehow land clemens but i think its a long, long shot at best...plus his contract is just rediculous
  16. my biased pick is for mark to start....but in all reality halladay has had a better overall season to date so you have to go with him
  17. thats not a bad idea....i'd definitely take him over contreras or mccarthy right now..
  18. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 02:03 PM) He also hits the ball the other way a lot, especially on his home runs, a lot to right center this season. i love seein him doin that stuff....when a hitter gets it goin to both sides of the field thats when they at their most dangerous...pitchers feel like they can't pitch them anywhere
  19. i'm lovin what im seein from jermaine right now.......he started slow but now hes gettin it goin....that homer last night was just rediculous....that pitch was low and outside...he went down and got and hit it 400 feet
  20. QUOTE(quickman @ Jul 4, 2005 -> 09:07 AM) Well Hurt I compeltely agree with you but only if we can get a proven winner. I don't like trading a strong arm for just another arm. We will see. I do think soemthing is swimming in the water. I wish a trigger would be pulled soon. williams usually wont pull off a deal unless he's confident it will improve the team.....i doubt he'll trade contreras unless he can be sure hes getting a solid pitcher in return....but i do agree he needs to either improve and turn it around in his next start or just go
  21. you gotta say stupid s*** like that when your a hater......whoevers not recognizing game right now, will be before this seasons over.....we can't get respect from craig fuccin monroe!!!!!...gimme a break...he wishes he wasnt on that s***hole of a team
  22. fucc it.. lets just go to a four man rotation....this fifth starter thing is getting rediculous....that has to be the number one priority at this time....ken williams is good at pulling off deals that you don't think will happen...hopefully he can pull a rabbit out his hat and get us a quality fifth guy to go behind el duque
  23. QUOTE(JimH @ Jul 1, 2005 -> 08:28 AM) This is right up Carlos' alley, swinging for the fences. your damn right...i'll put money on it that he wins
