Funny, I actually was watching that...as soon as he said it I thought it was a very dumb thing to say. It is very sad that he can not learn to accept other kinds of people. I know sometimes we Republicans get a rap as being prejudiced towards different kinds of people, this is not the case at all. The New York Times Magazine had a large article about the growing number of 'new republicans' invading college campuses, and how they are just as diverse as liberal groups. Michael Savage, is an arrogant jerk. He has no place on Television, or in the republican community. (though my brother did enjoy his book)

I am not a big fan of either of those writers. Neither is edgy enough, or informative enough for my liking. I am more of a Jay Mariotti fan when it comes to Chicago Sports Writers. I also enjoy reading Rick Reiley in SI every week.

btw, CW, do you ever read Mitch Albom's columns up there in Michigan. I read them off of the detroit free press website, and he is a great writer. He doesn't write all the time like Marrioti, but he writes twice a week it seems, and the columns are always well written. I have enjoyed reading him, ever since I read his biogrophy of Schembechler--Bo (though technically it is an autobio, Albom still wrote it)
