    Entourage

I love that show. Ive watched it since it came out. Like Ive said in another post, Jeremy Pivens character made my name so much more mainstream and I doubt Ill ever be called Airy again.
  2. Im glad hes been able to stick around long enough where he'll get this so they dont try to screw him out of getting into the HOF.
  3. Wilbon also claims he grew up on the mean streets of Chicago and he was from Lake Forest or something.
  4. I could see us maybe dropping one lefty in the lineup but I dont know about all that. I also wouldnt want PK batting 3rd. If anything throw JD in there or something but I doubt Thome doesnt play. Maybe we can get a similar gem to the one we got when we first saw BMac at Wrigley.
  5. QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Apr 6, 2007 -> 10:35 PM) You guys mushed Gio mushed means jinxed and it was a joke. I know they took him out after the fifth but the pen didnt hold his no/no. Since it was just a joke and not sarcasm I wasnt sure what color to make it. Any ideas?
  6. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Apr 7, 2007 -> 01:05 AM) Black Sheep Trailer-- Horror/Comedy Is that for real? It looks like the next sequel to 28 days later only this time its with fluffy innocent looking sheep.
  7. Hear me out before you judge me. A few years ago I read "A Shark Never Sleeps" the Drew Rosenhaus auto-biography because I was in school working towards becoming a sports agent and he was the most famous one out there. Now, its written through the eyes of a guy who is totally in love with himself and he is constantly patting himself on the back. But if you can see through all that and take it for what it is its really pretty interesting. It talks about the route he took to become what he is and the ways he got most of his big name athletes to sign for him. I also think its interesting because it gives you a different perspective of some of his earlier clients like Michael Irvin and Cortez Kennedy. If you have any kind of interest in the sports agency field I would recommend it.
  8. Nobody is gonna want to be on the cover this year. I really dont think it will be LT or Peyton either. It makes sense but i see them going a different route.
  9. QUOTE(Felix @ Apr 6, 2007 -> 09:27 PM) I finally got around to watching Requiem for a Dream, and really, I didn't think it was good. The soundtrack, fantastic. The cinematography, great. The acting, good. But really, the movie had little to no substance to it, and wasn't that good. The plot was nothing special at all, and I felt like it had no purpose behind it (guess what, drugs are bad and they mess up your dreams/life! surprise surprise!). I will give the movie that it's incredibly powerful though, which was clearly one of its goals. I had a tough time sitting through the whole thing... it got nearly too depressing for me towards the end, and I'm usually fine with depressing movies and such. There are some pretty good reviews here (watch out for spoilers) that basically say exactly what I think (search "JohnnyTower321" and "Ang Griffen" for my two favorites). I saw Requiem for a dream a while ago and I thought it was interesting. Nothing I would want to see over and over but it definitely makes you think. I never thought I could view Marlon Wayans as a serious actor.
  10. QUOTE(Shamrock4Life @ Apr 6, 2007 -> 07:33 PM) watching the game on my big screen, thought not in HDTV because I don't have it through cable down here in Texas because the girl is lazy and I was on a rig when we decided to upgrade, i didn't think it hit him. but i also don't think it matters. i mean bases loaded no outs, there is no way we don't score with the way we swing for the fences. there was going to be at least one ball deep enough to score dye, or did we PH for him, don't remember. Not if they had Aardsma
  11. That makes me miss college
  12. 28 Weeks later looks good. I also was surprised that I liked Stranger than fiction, once it got going it was pretty good. As far as Borat. I love that movie, I think its hilarious.
  13. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Apr 6, 2007 -> 04:11 PM) Surprisingly ESPN has us at #8 even after a lackluster 1-2 start. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/powerranking...2007&week=1 Wow, thats some respect actually.
  14. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Apr 6, 2007 -> 04:51 PM) Total non story, only making a deal out of it cuz OMG IT'S AJ AND IT'S CONTROVERSIAL. It hit him, would have hit 90% of other lefthanders as well. I dont think it hit him actually. I just think the ump blew the call.
  15. They were just talking about the last play of yesterdays game on PTI and it sounded like they were implying AJ did something to entice the HBP call. After watching the replay I really dont agree. To me it looked like he checked his swing. Just another reason to make AJ look cheap...Im glad hes on our side!
  16. Depending on what happens with our own free agents I dont see us making too many huge moves next offseason. KW may overlook signing a SP to replace MB because of all the young arms he traded for this offseason. I could also see him letting Dye go and THAN letting BA start. They are gonna have to address the outfield with at least one free agent IMO though.
  17. Thats nothing...I went to the Bears/Vikings this year and it was like 10 degrees...
  18. That is a pretty rough stretch but Im not worried about our offense as much as I am our pitching. Our offense might be able to get some runs against these guys but if our pitchers continue to open the flood gates early it doesnt really matter. We cant slug with those guys on the mound.
  19. This sucks but if it does in deed keep us from facing Santana one time during the year I guess it helps at least and something positive comes from it.
  20. The problem I see with this is that it technically has a non-offensive definition they can never really prove what he meant by it.
  21. Thats pretty cool. It would of been better if it was Jeter or something.
