  1. Wow. I dont know why but this really bothers me that these guys are complaining about where their free seats are. These specific guys also work for a company that owns(ed) our cross town rival. Maybe theyre not happy about it but I cant believe that they are actually trying to make themselves sound like victems.
  2. Cleveland lost tonight t Miami so as of right now we are the 2 seed and we control our own destiny. Next up: Bulls-New Jersey Cavs-Washington WO/Agent00 and Butler. Not a bad time to get the first win over New jersey this season.
  3. HARVARD EDUCATION HERE!!!!!!!! I LOVE LAMP!
  4. Okay i got it, its more of a luxury than a necessity.
  5. This guy as on Jimmy Kimmel last night to redeem himself and his first pitch on the show was just as bad. He threw another one that went straight but it 2 hopped to the catcher. he was a good sport about and was making fun of himself a lot. One of Jimmy Kimmels quotes was priceless "Are you sure youre right handed?"
  6. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 5, 2007 -> 10:22 PM) No it's not like the frisbee. It's much more than a gimmick pitch. It's a solid enough pitch. But it's nothing baseball-world-changing. Exactly. It's a for-real major league pitch, unlike Shingo's frisbee. How do you think he would pitch if that wasnt in his arsenal is more what I mean. I dont know too much about the guy but from what they make it sound like thats the pitch that is freezing batters. I also heard that sometimes he can pull an extra 3-5 mph on his fastball sometimes to screw up the batters timing.
  7. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 5, 2007 -> 10:17 PM) So like it's the frisbee, except that he doesn't depend on it like Shingo did? Thats the comparison Im trying to make. That frisbee pitch was deadly for a while and Shingo was a great closer. Once it was figured out he dissapeared. If Pedro throws the same pitch Id say he isnt using the delivery as much of a gimmick as Dice-K but it gives it more credibility because Pedro has been one of the most dominant pitchers of our time.
  8. I know its speculation at this point but maybe he seems so poised because he doesnt understand the severity of being part of Red Sox nation. Like I said before, Japanese pitchers all seem to fizzle out once theyre delivery gets timed and there is some tape on them. I know this gy is supposed to be a monster but I think this is another example of ESPN going way overboard.
  9. If they wanna have that stupid law thats one thing. But the fact that they used tax dollars on UNDERCOVER officers to investigate is just sad. DOnt they have anything better to do than this. Id be ashamed of myself if I was the officer that arrested him.
  10. Just have Coop rub some Robitussen on his forearm and hell be good to go.
  11. I prefer to have the announcers be fans of the team Im rooting for any day. I know youre implying impartial announcers but imagine somebody like mariotti calling a Sox game. Sure it would be entertaining once but Id prefer to have someone agree with me when the umps make the right call and I still wanna complain about it and call bs.
  12. QUOTE(Brian @ Apr 5, 2007 -> 08:12 AM) Did he and Ralph Macchio let the monkey's out of there cages? No it was Paulie Shore
  13. When he can go into Yankee Stadium and get a win thats when Ill think hes gonna be as dominant as they say he is. He seemed to be good today but as someone else said it seemed like he had an extremely generous strikezone.
  14. OMG...Did Sizemore not catch that? The sun must of been in his eyes
  15. Nice glove by Crede, you know he wants to finish it on offense now
