Why cry over Berkman, he's not much of an upgrade and clearly is on the decline to past two seasons. Injuries have taken a toll on his career.

Would you stop overrating Hudson. He's the best prospect in a below average farm system. Jackson is by far a clear upgrade. The team is in a win now mode.

For the people that said Edwin Jackson wouldn't help us this season.....can I have what your smoking because he's clearly is an upgrade over Garcia and Hudson (at this time). This team is in a win now mode, and this is a win now move. You can't have you cake and eat it too when it comes to keeping all your top prospects and fielding a contending team.

Stop over-valuing Hudson. In any other organization, he's an average pitching prospect. Jackson helps them win now and that is the goal. I see more Brendon McCarthy in Hudson then I see John Danks.
