I hope Jose gets the rest he deserves...and I believe it's good to see who's ready and who's not..I hate losing any game...But I am someone who doesn't pay attention to the Minors all that much and its nice to see some talent come up like B-mac..Jenks and Cotts..also we had a chance to win yesterday and we didn't go for the throat when needed...Let's hope one of these guys realy has the mentle edge to play for this team and the Majors.

I think the whole Cub fan base took a hit...not by conversion but alot of people stopped wearing cub attire and more World Series Sox gear...and Sox in general...maybe bandwagon maybe the tide has turned...But needless to sayI don't stay in the city right now Im in Central Illinois and Ive noticed it...a college town that used to be fillled with tons of cubby gear is now not seen...more and more Sox gear, flags, hats, tees...it's really wierd when a year ago, you and a handful of people wore Sox gear and now you look out your window and someone strolls by wearing sox gear...it never happened like that...but I feel its better than it was, tide has changed back to black...Go Sox!

whoa my first topic post....Ok this was a topic last year but doesn't seem to be back up for discussion after all this "Defensive Outfield" Talk...Ok so Dye is good, shows some occassional hussle, but he is older and slower due to past injuries...We know this...BA, is exactly like someone said in the game thread...Arow who? He IS showing us why they put alot of faith in this kid..critics aside(including myself) Now Mr. Podsednik..."dis ked ken run fast" Well I have seen too many plays my 33 year old fat ass could have made in the outfield and I'm more of a 3rd baseman...We know he has had groin issues...and he is getting thrown out...alot, I am very unhappy about his lack of hussle or his babying of the injury...Lets get to those ballz! In what could have been a tighter game or maybe a loss last night after another one of Contreras' superb outings (which would or could have messed up that sweet streak) Why hasn't Ozzie laid into him? It's easy to see he could have gotten there...and wioth BA...he is showing us it can be done with Hussle...ARROW STYLE! I love Podsy, but whats the story anyone heard anything?
