  1. Fire Walker? I dunno, what does Don Cooper think?
  2. 70 degrees here and gorgeous.
  3. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Jul 19, 2011 -> 09:29 PM) Still can't beat the f***in Royals. Unf***inbelievable! Danny.F***ing.Duffy.
  4. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 19, 2011 -> 07:43 PM) The Sox are who they are. These games against KC prove it. Sox can't even hit pitchers off a AAA team, which the Royals are. First in Chicago, now here. What a joke. Sell Kenny, sell now. Oh, and fire Greg Walker, too!!!!
  5. What are you guys smokin'? That's a terrible lineup. Rios batting 5th?! Scary. Lillibridge hasn't been hitting, Morel hasn't exactly been tearin' it up (when he does play). Flowers is Flowers. I hope to hell they hit, but that lineup is not going to put the fear into anyone.
  6. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 18, 2011 -> 07:53 PM) That was such an enjoyable game of baseball. More, please. BUEHRLE!!!!
  7. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 18, 2011 -> 12:58 PM) that chefboyardee stuff is pretty bad. Yes, but Franco American is worse.
  8. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Jul 18, 2011 -> 12:25 PM) athletics? Philly, KC and now oakland. That's my guess as well.
  9. If we could get him for next to nothing, yes. But since that won't happen............NO!!
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 15, 2011 -> 07:12 PM) Starting half 2 with a G! I hope this is a good ohman.
  11. This is pretty bad signing a pitcher that even we beat .
  12. ........................................................
  13. QUOTE (DirtySox @ Jul 14, 2011 -> 02:21 PM) Very slightly, but yes. I'll be more impressed if they sign some of the prep players they took later on. Especially Freese. I thought Freese sounded intriguing too. Anyone heard anything on the Sox signing this guy?
  14. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 13, 2011 -> 03:05 PM) Good glove, no bat. He was one of the worst hitters i have ever seen and the worst on a good baseball team that didnt need his bat. You had guys like Tim Raines, Robin Ventura, Frank Thomas, Carlton Fisk, Lance Johnson, Ellis Burks, Karko,Julio Franco, etc all hitting in a lineup where he wasnt needed at the time. He was all Glove and still was replaced at times by guys like Steve Sax. You make it sound like he was Eddie Brinkman. He was a light hitter and free swinger but the worst he hit as a regular was .265. That would hardly rank him as a terrible hitter, "one of the worst hitters ever".
  15. Morel has gotten a lot of D's. I think that's kinda harsh considering how solid he's been with the glove.
  16. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 10, 2011 -> 07:20 PM) Just who posted here.. I'll refrain from quoting the entire thing but that was CLASSIC! Well done, my friend.
