Do you prefer soft chewy cookies or cookies with a little crunch?

Zee Bulls, they play next on Friday, eh?

Oh, they'll make the playoffs. I don't expect they'll do much in the playoffs, but they'll get there.

QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Oct 19, 2009 -> 04:07 PM) Man, in my main league, I love having the most f***ing points, 20 more than the next person and probably will be 2-4 after tonight's game. Did I mention I put up the most points this week and faced the only team capable of beating me. Oh, and I have faced the top scoring team 3 times. FML Here's hoping Vincent Jackson puts up less than 9 points. As a whole I really can't vent outside of this league. ChWRoCk2 > Soxtalk League Well, let's see in League 1, I have the most points (27 more than you) and yet you're 6-0 and I'm 2-4. It blows big time!

QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 14, 2009 -> 09:13 PM) You don't have to be a good player to be a good coach. Sometimes the guys who weren't stars make better coaches because they spent more time studying the game. How true. Walt Hriniak only had a cup of coffee in the majors. Charlie Lau was around for awhile but never a star player. It's kinda funny how a guy with a .255 career batting average became regarded as THE premier hitting coach and even wrote a book How To Hit .300. As for Frank, though he was a great hitter I don't think he could be successful as a coach. He never exactly had a good rapport with teammates, did he?

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 12, 2009 -> 09:31 AM) with Rivers on a bye, I had picked up NeckBeard to start this week. Just before noon, yahoo's front page had a headline that inferred it was snowing in Denver and it would make it hard for the QBs. Seeing this, I picked up Derek Anderson instead. Yes, the Derek Anderson that went 2-17 for 23 yards. I was happy to later see the weather in Denver was snow/rain free. Luckily, my opponent is up like 70, so I wouldnt have had a chance with Orton anyway LOL!! I can laugh because I did the same thing, picked up Anderson with Brees on a BYE. S***!! Screwed me. That team is falling to 2-3. F***!!

I would love to have him back in the organization if he's interested in a career AFTER baseball, but not on this team as a player next year.
-
Happ, huh? Holy hemoglobin!
-
Certainly, without question! Hell, it sounds like he'd be a blast to go drinkin' with already. My favorite: "Hey daddy, the Twins have ducks on the pond. I am cheering for the Twins." LOL!!!

QUOTE (Tex @ Oct 9, 2009 -> 09:26 PM) Among others I believe there was the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack next to Rumours. I'm guessing there was some ELO, Eagles, and Chicago in there as well. But, not only did I join once to get all the albums (yes kids, albums) I joined again when I was starting my CD collection. The first CD I bought was the Eagles Greatest Hits. Great thread idea! That's too much! I joined more than once too and also got the Saturday Night Fever album among others. A loooong time ago I joined a similar club which I believed was called the Record Club of America. I liked it better because it had a better variety of albums (more record labels) and for a time you could even get 45's. I also got 2 free albums when I subscribed to Rolling Stone. I remember one of them was Volunteers by Jefferson Airplane. When I subscribed to Creem Magazine (which I liked even better than Rolling Stone) I got A Boy Howdy T shirt. John Lennon wearing Boy Howdy T-shirt
