  1. QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 16, 2009 -> 08:09 PM) Mary Travers of Peter, Paul and Mary passed away. I just heard this. That's sad. She's singin' with the angels now.
  2. Grape Nuts are groovy.
  3. Zack Wheat who is in baseball's Hall of Fame had a brother Mack Wheat who also played in the big leagues.
  4. Ryan Rowland-Smith is gonna get his a$$ kicked tonight!
  5. Kicks just keep gettin' harder to find.
  6. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Sep 15, 2009 -> 08:36 PM) And Cue the clown music. Circus music
  7. Whaddya say we get some HITS?!!!
  8. Rodney McCray running through an outfield wall. Actually it was a little scary to see, but since it turned out he was ok it was pretty funny.
  9. Clevelan pitched in 40 games for the Barons in 2009. He finished 4-0 with a sparkling 0.96 ERA. He saved 10 games. In 56.1 innings he walked 35 and struck out 52. Pre All Star he walked 27 in 35 innings, fanning 28. Post All Star, in 21.1 innings we walked just 8 fanning 24.
  10. Brady batted .351 in 57 games for Bristol. He had an impressive .426 OBP, .585 SLG and 1.011 OPS. Following Bristol's season Brady was called up to Charlotte when the Knights roster was depleted of players due to Sept. call-ups. In 8 games he went just 3-29. I think for a 19th round pick he turned some heads this year and certainly got some notice.
  11. Gallagher batted .270 in 101 games for the Dash. He scored 43 runs and knocked in 49. In August he was called up to Birmingham and played in 27 games there. He batted .280 with 17 runs and 20 rbi's.
  12. It's kinda interesting how World Series viewership has dropped dramatically since the 80's, beyond that I could care less how few people may have cared to watch the White Sox in the World Series. I didn't miss one pitch and that's all I care about. Watching that series was truly one of the highlights of my life. I must admit I have watched very little of any other World Series in the last 25 or so years. I just don't care all that much any more (if it ain't the White Sox).
  13. Stayin' Alive! Great Falls with a 3-1 WIN tonight. Wickswat: 5 IP; 6 H; 1 ER; 0 BB; 6 K Vargas: 4-4; 1 RBI
  14. QUOTE (winninguglyin83 @ Sep 13, 2009 -> 01:05 PM) Wasn't Kazmir the starting pitcher for Tampa during the perfecto? Gave up the slam to Fields? Indeed!
  15. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 05:33 PM) Or both. Pena & Williams - Abbott & Costello
  16. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 05:01 PM) Has Rios even have a RBI for us? Three!!!
  17. Meh. All 2 of them? (Just kidding! Couldn't resist)
  18. Thud. I hope Great Falls does something in their playoff series.
  19. That has got to be one of the stupidest lists ever. What a moron!
