I can't decide if Pods is lucky or just realizing how to best maximize his stay in the major leagues by focusing on his strengths.
I hope it's the latter, but either way, I'll take it.

Robert Vaughn. All he does in his Kanny debut is go 2-4 HR, 2B, 6 RBIs. Hell of a debut.
Probably his best debut since The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Great Falls shutout Missoula 9-0. Jimmy Ballinger who struggled at Kanny and Bristol with 5 IP, 3 hits, 0 BBs for his 2nd Win (2-0).
Vargas (.341) was 4-5.

I've been with you all year on him while others weren't convinced. Rookie 2B batting .280. I just hope he can stay healthy.
Getz is actually outhitting Beckham, weird as that seems.

Is Wakefield on a pitch count?
Wakefield won't have any restrictions on him for Saturday's start, and the hope is that both the back and his weakened right calf muscle will make it through the start. C Victor Martinez will catch Wakefield after enjoying a great of success catching the knuckleball during Wakefield's first start back from the DL. Yahoo! Sports
I would like to see Retherford given a chance to make the squad next year. I believe he can play 2B or 3B. I don't know for sure how he is defensively but the guy is a hitting machine. I'd much prefer him over Lillibridge as a utility type guy at the very least.
Keep the wins comin' guys...keep the wins comin'!
