Believe it or not, I was in a high school play when I was about 24. My brother and a couple of friends had written a play and although they were in no way connected with the school's "thespian" department they were allowed to put on the play. They needed someone to play a drug pusher and I don't know why but they thought that I was right for the role . I told them that I would do it provided I didn't have to say anything. So they kinda rewrote the scene and I did it with no lines. Plus, there was a movie within the play that I was also in (again with no lines). That was my acting career. B)

Jaws. The movie was much better than the book. The book had a ridiculous affair between Hooper and Brody's wife. The scene where Quint talks about the USS Indianapolis, which I liked, was not in the book. Jaws sequels were horrendous, but no matter, the original was a real good movie. The book, for me anyway, was disappointing.

I can honestly say, I'm not excited. I just hope Juan sheds some lbs. and hits all year next year like he hit in September.

Bourgeois, who has been in a bit of a slump, had a good game as Mochis won 7-5. 3-5, 2B, R, RBI...upped his average to .291. 33 year-old Tomas Perez has been hot in the Venezuelan League. He's batting .389 in 14 games, good for third best in the league.

If it's any of those guys, please let it be Jack Wilson. Sure, Khalil Greene would hit about 30 hrs, but his ba/obp probably wouldn't be that great and you could count on 130 or so Ks. The Sox don't need another guy like that.
