  1. Wow. In both cases this will be interesting to see what they do at a next level. I was hoping for Hawkins to go to Great Falls only because I'm seeing them play tonight.
  2. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 13, 2012 -> 10:15 AM) It looked so not-concussion worthy. Didn't it? I had an accident at work a couple of years ago where I fell backwards and hit my head on concrete. I had a mild concussion but this it looked like Dyson barely grazed him.
  3. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 08:04 PM) What is this based on other than personal opinion? What about Danks is heads and above better than any Joe Schmoe? I'm not seeing it so help me out. Well, I'd say he's got above average speed, a good arm and is an above average defensive outfielder. Sure his bat might not be mlb -ready for an everyday player but he's not an every day player. In his limited ABs he hasn't been that bad. I'll take .265 from my 4th outfielder. Heck, I'd like it from my starting second baseman too.
  4. QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 05:31 PM) Bristol- Kibby http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?s...elirok_brirok_1 Bristol is quite the explosive team.
  5. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 03:50 PM) The legend of Jordan Danks fascinates me. He did hit it, but there are a lot of left handed hitters that would have hit the pitch he took deep very hard, probably even Dwayne Wise. This makes sense, The Sox need another lefty in the bullpen and Wise can do what Danks does. Danks gets some ABs and comes back in 20 days. Danks can do what Wise does AND has been doing an admirable job doing what he does. I agree though with the logic here. Just complaining that it's Wise staying up in favor of Danks. Your statement, "He did hit it, but there are a lot of left handed hitters that would have hit the pitch he took deep very hard, probably even Dwayne Wise" ....really dumb, sorry.
  6. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 03:35 PM) Why is Hudson still on the team? Oh yeah, I forgot, he's a "clubhouse guy". Ironic because I think Jordan Danks is a good clubhouse guy (besides playing his butt off).
  7. QUOTE (daggins @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 03:23 PM) He'll be back in 3 weeks anyways, and the pen definitely needs some help. He should be back for sure in Sept. Maybe not a real bad thing for Danks if he can play every day and get the ABs, but it sucks all the same for Wise to get the nod over Danks. Thanks for the walkoff Friday night, Jordan!!!!!
  8. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Sep 12, 2010 -> 10:30 PM) I saw Wayne's World in theaters. Pffft. I saw Birth of a Nation in theaters.
  9. "Powered by Johnson, J.R. Ballinger and Ryan Buch, Winston-Salem (30-19, 74-44-1) recorded its league-leading 15th shutout victory of the season." 15th shutout? Damn.
  10. QUOTE (Brian @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 08:23 AM) Look at this Roody Poo, Candy Ass.. "You White Sox, you got me this time!"
  11. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 02:18 PM) Robin just wants to be all dramatic about it and pull him in the middle of the inning so he gets his applause. Instead of doing the smart thing, he does the dramatic thing. I have NO problem with it.
  12. Great seeing Yu Darvish get back on track today!
  13. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 02:10 PM) No Thornton unless we score another few runs. Like another 6.
  14. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 02:07 PM) Yeah, I'm totally good with Sale just ending it right here. 100 pitches, been sitting for like 20 minutes. With the way Humber saved our pen last night, we can go Septimo, Jones, Reed from here on out. But no Thornton.
  15. QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 01:48 PM) NOW LET'S GET SOME RUNS!!!!!!!!! I'm taking credit for this inning, thank you, you're welcome.
  16. We can turn it into a laugher right here.
  17. QUOTE (Mr. Showtime @ Aug 12, 2012 -> 01:55 PM) Yay! I will eat 2 chocolate chip cookies right now in honor of that 2 run bomb. I would eat two DOZEN.
