The only problem with Thome coming back is that these types of injuries linger. I remember when Thomas has a similar injury and sucked all year. Also, Thome can not come out of the bullpen.

Joe Girardi would make a great new manager, not that anybody is getting fired unless they murder Mike North.

Losing is less painful when you expect it. I don't think anybody expected us to win one game. Since we already have basically been swept, no reason to watch the carnage tomorrow.
