Jim and I do a great form of counseling too... it's called... real life. You take each day one at a time, and you communicate. You respect eachothers opinions.. (even though he is always wrong ), and you are honest. That's a key to a good relationship. Communication, respect, and honesty.

Sorry to burst the bubble... but it's not. The book is hysterical though. The questions are a bunch of hypothetical bs - as how in the heck do you know how you're going to react to something until it happens..? The answer to everything is... "we'll work it out together". Pre Cana is the biggest bunch of BS.
  3. I have a pretty good mask to hide the hidiousness (is that a word..?)
  4. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain
  5. Eh.. I'm no big deal. Once you've seen one old hag fat arse... you've seen them all.
  6. No worries kap.. if you're lucky, soon you too will know the joy of my presence..
  7. Or perhaps.. "Celebs I wish I've met...", or "celebs I've dreamt I've met..." or "celebs I've imagioned I've met.." rolleyeyes.gif
  8. They were modestly dressed Sunday. Long shorts, "wife beaters", and Detroit jersey's and caps. They had on a couple of big gaudy things around their necks, but not like I've seen in pictures of them. I would guess most of the bling was missing. The one had on a huge ring about the size of my entire hand that went across all 4 of his fingers. One of their sons - who might have been pushing 5... was wearing what had to be a 2 ct diamond earing. The thing was pulling the poor child's lobe down. I guess if ya got it.. flaunt it. I saw Kid at the Tiger's game.
  9. So.? People quit cold turkey after many years of smoking. He might have 2 years under his belt (because he didn't smoke while playing in the Baltimore system), so I imagine it wasn't that hard for him to quit.
  10. He offered the info when offered one. We spent 4 hours with him Friday night.. and 3 hours on Saturday night in a bar drinking... we never saw him light up once. Not one Camel. A cigar though.
  11. You met D12, too.. wow, small world. Now there are 2 of us here. I just saw Kid Rock Saturday night with his kid.. he's a lot "larger" than he looks on TV, but a real nice guy.
  12. But he is a major league cry baby.
  13. I can only speak for myself.. but I didn't buy one bit of the Harris BS... and said so. I never expected him to be anything more than what he is.. a piece of poo poo.

Which I find so strange given it's appearance, the employees, the customer service, etc.. We met with a rep regarding season tickets and they were great to us. Even took us into the Admin offices.

It was friggin hot there yesterday. And most of the park is exposed to sun during a day game. The Tiger's Den seating (behind the sections between the dugouts) is really the only constant shaded area.

With the stadium, and all the family stuff that's there.. I find that very hard to believe. There is so much to do at that park.. there's a friggin merry-go-round and mini farris wheel for the kids! They open up 2 hours before the game to give plenty of time to see everything also. I just can't say enough nice things about it. I think it might have made my top 5 list... I definitely can't wait for the games next year, and the AS Game.
