Last night during commercals watching the Sox.. Jim flips to the Cubs game. I'm in the kitchen putting dishes in the dishwasher.. hearing the channel flip, I come around the corner and say "what the hell are you doing..?" He says.. "you're gonna love the score (I guess the Cubs were losing..)". And I respond "I don't give a s***. Turn the Sox game back on". Quickly.. the channel changed back.

Jugger.. why on earth do you keep focusing on what offers he was made..?? YOU said he is QUOTED as saying he would NOT return to the Whit Sox if he filed FA... I said he did not. You need to go back and read your bulls***. You stated loud and clear that Maggs said he would not come back to the Sox if he tested FA. That's a lie. And the February revolation about him testing FA was nothing new. Hawk announced it at Soxfest. I don't need to prove anything because you have yet to provide anything to discredit. No quote from Maggs about not returning with the Sox if he tests FA. Not one. No semantics. You lied about that quote. End of story. By the way.. ESPN.Com lets you research waaaaay back.. for free.

And it was absolutely hysterical. This is from memory - and a very old one (and not mine ).. but one time the ticker broke and he had to improvise announcing something like a 12 pitch at bat resulting in a walk (I think, please don't hold me to this).. when they got it back working he found out the batter had gotten out.

Maggs does a lot of stuff for charities out of the media eye, and is very fan friendly at the park. Maybe that's what they mean..?
