I'm really stunned that ozuna isn't leading off today. I would love to see BA in there today, but I'm realistic about him not playing alot right now untill there is sustained bad performance by erstad(unlikely right now) or (most likely) pods. I am of course MORE stunned that were letting that little girl leadoff against a lefty after he just had a disgusting day yesterday.. and what sucks is he might get a hit or something positive today and our big wigs will think he's coming around or something and keep trotting his sorry, worthless ass out there again. I actually wouldn't mind all the failures of our pitching and whatnot(you can't trade everybody, and so far everybody is a big fat question mark, they just need to pitch better) but there was 0 reasons to keep the prancer on this team, its just going to continually kill us. Add this to the fact he gets the most at bats on the team whenever he plays, fantastic. and yes, except more of these rants once and while from me, cus i hate pods so much. sorry, i really am sorry but it kills me. I love the team and actually think we can turn it around, but pods is gonna kill us so many damn times and WE DON"T EVEN NEED HIM, we have guys to play the position, actually alot of them.. ugh help me

thanks iguchi, boy if we could just somehow get pods off the field and play mack/BA more with erstad in left, this offense would be so much more well rounded. I've definelty bashed erstad a few times, but hell if he's decently healthy he is fine, and that just leaves prancer.. and for gods sake, our pitching has a LONG way to go. Vasquez i'm actually thinking will look fine, at least he made bats miss later in spring.

thank goodness for steve stone, how some organization doesn't throw money at him to do radio/tv for their team is a mystery to me.. I could care less if the excuse is that he won't be a company man, only another reason to like him.

I like it. Its prolly going to be around 10mil a year, which with his stuff and the many people who will like him no matter what (metsGM,etc) there will be avenues to get rid of him. However I'm expecting some good things from javy this year, I just think he's going to be more comfortable this year. "SIGH" I'm actually REALLY happy about the coming of spring training and what not, and some of the trades we made I'm actually for this year, mainly the b'mac one, BUT ... Every thread that has Pods aka "THESUCK" in it just makes me want to go find a hole and die. My stomach starts to feel empty and aching as I get flashbacks to the 2nd half of last year where pods REALLY had the suckatude working hardcore, strike looking and pulled weak ground balls over and over and over and over and over and over.... Kenny's ONE glaring GLARING mistake was this one move to not fill LF. I actually think of all the teams in the league if they needed a 5th starter we actually are one the teams that at least have a cornucopia of options that could work out fine, so I'm actually intrigued to watch what happens there. Heager (my fav hope) floyd, gio, broad.. I mean thats not even close to the options we had the last time we had this problem.

Since I am a DirecTV user, this year with a new move, I'm not mad and will try to give another side of things. Joeynach-There were 750,000 purchases of EI last year... millions of people will not be affected. Also the NFL has a deal that is exactly the same with DTV and have about 3 times the subscribers as EI and their price hasn't gone crazy since the deal was done. Another thing is if you can't get DTV then get the MLB.TV feed, I've had it 2 years straight and didn't mind it at all, if you want it doesn't take a genius to hook up a computer to your tv to watch the internet on your tv also. I could go on, but really I was just reading Joe Sheehans piece about this deal on BaseballProspectus.com and basically agree with him... you need to be a member to read the whole thing.. but its only 5 bucks a month and I enjoy it for that price, great article, and really MLB did this for only 30mill more over 7 years... still alot of money and only diehard Baseball guys who don't have DTV are mad, and these are people who aren't going to abandon the game b/c of it. So rub some dirt on it and stop whining, there are still ways to see the sox if your not in ILL. If your in nashville and want to catch a game, gimme a buzz, b/c I have DTV.

Well good luck to the tigers and twins, amazing that they show energy and a will to win. Those 2 teams are showing you the 3rd dimension you must have if your going to get to the playoffs. Really if we were just going to win 1 game in this series and play like crap some more, I'd much rather if we just get our asses handed to us like we are right now. End it quickly. Although that triple play was nice, and in a Real year might spark a hungry team to a big win, but were still down 2. To not make this too negetive just let me say that even with all the laziness and lack of pitching and all the ugly nights after bad loses; I can still say I enjoyed this season more than most. We still have a world championship title in 2005 and won alot of games this year, stayed in contention for a while and STILL have, in my opinion, a team that isn't too old next year and a few guys that are young and going to play some next year. And finally I'm excited about the offseason, our guys are going to become hungry again next year and the white sox made alot of money this year which means kenny has money to play with, and I believe he will get rid of any guy on this team that looks like he isn't going to be hungry for a world title next year. go sox and see ya in the offseason, unless we pull a miracle and make me happy.

even though its infield/outfield comparison; marte kind of reminds me of C. Patterson. star written all over them early, maayybe brought up to soon, tools type guy for their positions. And early on for c.patt he kind of just.. played dumb, and marte and his defense looks like c.patt making that one big error every few games, just being dumb. Plus Marte is doing his best impersantion of c.patt by swinging at that first pitch and going for broke most swings. i am.. a little danked out right now and I might just be blabbering. So i'm in left field or just right, which am I? jesus every damn twins game that doesn't come against us, Justin M. makes errors over at first all the time, especially balls in the dirt.
