  1. Enjoy your world series ring in October Jeff, thanks for your week of fun.
  2. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 10:49 AM) Jimbo...by no means am I an Illini fan. I'm as big of an Illini hater as there is. I've heard from numerous reliable sources that Collins and Longstreet were compensated nicely for their decision. :banghead
  3. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 10:25 PM) Correct. Although I could see UNC having class and dropping off of Rose since he's going to the highest bidder, however Georgia Tech isn't somebody I'd consider to be a classy school that wouldn't pay Collins. But in that case, guess they took the high road. Stop pulling this s***, there is no high bidder with Collins, Weber just cant recruit worth s***.
  4. Something tells me Uncle Cliffy is not hurt, he needs a mental break.
  5. QUOTE(Sox1422 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 10:11 AM) Plus, he is starting to take the slump out to the field. Failing to back up Ozuna twice on Sunday, he lost a ball completely last night that Dye caught, etc. Also, on Sunday (don't know if anyone saw this) There was one out and someone popped out to Uribe or Gooch and Anderson was running in to back up the play. When the ball was caught Anderson kept running in all the way to the infield before he realized that it was only 2 outs. He needs to keep his head in the game on defense at least. Dye gave him a look and motioned his arms like what's up? I know everyone likes Anderson and wants to give him a chance, but there has to be better options available somewhere and KW needs to take a look. Anderson is shaky all over, he is really in need of a triple A visit.
  6. Boers and Bernsey are the best show in chicago, but they have lots of inside jokes.
  7. I watched the D2 championship with Cruz, the kid is an absolute hit machine. he has an ability to hit to all parks and the announcers said he is one of the best prospects to come out of D2 in a long time.
  8. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Jun 6, 2006 -> 09:47 PM) Who really wants Griffey here, the Sox or Barry Rozner? If all this stems from his article, sheesh... I want him really really bad, i love that guy
  9. Love the win, lets get on a roll Hey where are the tigers fans now, selective posting I see....f***ers Brian Anderson is giving me a f***in ulcer.
  10. f***KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
  11. I thought that was gone based on swing, f*** hawk
  12. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jun 6, 2006 -> 12:25 PM) And KC will be half full for Baylor-Colorado, but packed for KU-Iowa State. It always happens that way in the early rounds. For the final rounds, it gets fuller, unless you have upsets. KU v. Texas was half full at best.
  13. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jun 6, 2006 -> 07:39 AM) I think the Dallas media and fans do care, but that's ok. Not that I'm saying that it should be here permanantly, but it should be here for some years. The AAC does a good job of hosting the event. The majority of schools are closer to here then KC, if you include the OK schools and Texas schools. Colorado is just as far to KC as it is to Dallas. It's just those nutjob Iowans and Kansasites that are b****y. Damn cornbred idiots. At least cornbred idiots are better then those chicken f***ers in Indiana. I watched the big 12 tourney place was half full.

  15. my old apt was on 13...it was cheaper haah
  16. This is where it should be around fans who care about their college basketball. Dallas, their fans and media could care less..
  17. Speaking of BA, did anyone catch that woman's sign yesterday at thegam Triple A, no way I almost spit up my warm beer, which at that point was no big deal.
  18. QUOTE(sircaffey @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 05:53 PM) Mike Gonzalez and Salomon Torres, your Sox jersey's are made... I like the way your thinking....
  19. QUOTE(My Dixie Normus @ Jun 3, 2006 -> 10:59 AM) I haven't been able to find any humor in his performances of late. my thoughts exactly.
  20. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jun 3, 2006 -> 08:53 AM) Giangreco said on the news last night that he blew it out Carl Crawford (knee) is expected to return to the lineup Saturday. Crawford sat out Friday's game after injuring his knee while arguing with an umpire Thursday. "I thought I tore a ligament or something because of the way it felt," Crawford said. It may take Crawford a couple games to start running again. Jun. 3 - 10:51 am et Source: Tampa Tribune Consider your source....
  21. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 3, 2006 -> 10:47 AM) In no way am I trying to live up to my moniker of Mr. Pessimism, but don't you think that maybe we just had a magical season where we got career years from a lot of guys, and the ball just bounced our way a lot? get carl crawford!!
