  1. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 2, 2011 -> 09:33 PM) Rose had zero free throws. I guess that's what happens when the other team doesn't try to kill you every time you drive into the lane. Hawks played great defense on Rose tonight. They went under screens and dared him to shoot the outside shot, which really stopped him from going to the rim as much as he should. They were happy to give him that shot, which he hasn't hit consistently all season long and has been dreadful at in the postseason.
  2. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 2, 2011 -> 09:34 PM) So the good news is that this only happens about 30% of the time. Only did it once against Orlando in the first round, too. Seems unlikely to happen again.
  3. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 2, 2011 -> 09:32 PM) Did someone throw something on the court? Yep. No idea what it was, but it was right at the end of the game. The ref picked it up after the buzzer went.
  4. QUOTE (G&T @ May 2, 2011 -> 09:29 PM) Hawks shot 51%. That's a giant clover up their ass. They were 21-3 in the regular season when they shot 50% or better.
  5. Well, that was an unexpected ending.
  6. Noah deserved that T. Bad call or not, you can't b**** and moan like that. Considering how most of you feel about Howard's antics...
  7. Derrick Rose is playing like s*** today.
  8. The Hawks take a lot of really stupid shots.
  9. And Thibodeau gets T'd up for complaining about a bad call. Sounds about right for NBA refs.
  10. Apparently the rules for moving screens don't apply to Asik when he's setting them for Korver?
  11. Damien Wilkins passes it to.. uh.. no one on the fastbreak. Once a Timberwolf, always a Timberwolf.
  12. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 2, 2011 -> 07:15 PM) Drive to the basket...come on. Deng is the only one interested in doing that so far
  13. QUOTE (Brian @ May 2, 2011 -> 06:21 PM) That's pretty funny. I don't see why Nelson is taking so much heat for this though. He didn't say anything to a reporter, just to Rose privately after a game. Well, I guess some of it is deserved. I don't think he deserves any heat, I just find the whole situation pretty hilarious. He shouldn't be getting blasted for having confidence in his team, though. Of course, Hawks fans wouldn't have liked it since it made their series with Orlando sound like an afterthought. And obviously that wasn't the case
  14. What, no one has posted this in here yet? http://twitpic.com/4sf39g
  15. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 02:06 AM) Or like a Knightni? Is he a Knight Rider fan?
  16. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 12:07 PM) His defense has and always will be garbage. Case in point: http://nbaplaybook.com/2010/05/03/the-lake...decision-maker/
  17. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 09:14 PM) He and Foster have been playing dirty all series. It really shouldn't matter what Joakim did to make him pull a stupid move like that. The Bulls are just getting even. Oh, that was certainly retaliation for a series worth of shots from the Pacers, but reacting is exactly what Noah wanted him to do. Why give him the satisfaction? Why not just knock him upside the head the next time down the court when fighting for a rebound like he had been all series?
  18. Can't blame McRoberts too much for reacting to the forearm to the face from Noah, but that's still a pretty stupid move on his part. This one's over.
  19. QUOTE (G&T @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 08:48 PM) I have never seen so many charges called. Meanwhile 4 fouls for Boozer and Rose. And Rose is back in the game. If you're Indiana, how do you not attack him every time down the floor and try to get him a 5th?
  20. QUOTE (G&T @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 08:46 PM) They're awful on both sides. Certainly don't disagree with that. I was just commenting on the same sequence that chw42 mentioned. I won't say Hibbert "destroyed Deng", but it was certainly a foul
  21. Even as someone rooting for Indiana, that was a pretty bad sequence for the officials.
  22. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 08:18 PM) Lol, the ref called a block then decided it was a charge. Terrible call. I'd like to see a replay before definitively saying one way or another, but when Rose lowers his shoulder and creates contact with the defender, it's pretty obviously an offensive foul. (which isn't to defend the refs, I don't think they've been particularly good, but they've been bad for both teams)
