To be fair, Melky posted a .360 obp in 2006, his first full season. He's only 24. The Brewers dump salary and get a young center fielder who they probably think just needs a change of scenery.

Burrell makes no sense because they have Dunn. Burrell can't play right. That leaves Abreu, which would make sense except he's probably pursued by the Cubs who might over pay for him, especially if they don't get Peavy.
