2008 AL Central Catch-All Thread
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 08:07 PM) He's unhealthy or just flat out lost it...so glad the Sox didn't pick him up. He's bad. Picking him up wasn't the problem considering he was a throw in. Signing him to a 3 year deal was the problem.

Which is more annoying?
I'm not going to fault Red Roof Inn for trying to make a cheesy commercial and succeeding. That Rohrman commercial is absolutely terrible though. And no, I don't think he's trying to make something stupid. I think he think he's funny.

QUOTE (tommy @ Jun 6, 2008 -> 09:56 PM) 107 pitches, I'd still let him finish the inning. And he'd probably blow the lead.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 6, 2008 -> 09:56 PM) Javy and AJ, they are killing your fastball and haven't touched the changeup. Get with it. I don't think he has the command to through it any more than he is. And he's done.

Young with a real good play to catch Dye's fly to left. Wind is swirling.

It's so nice to see a home run go off the glove of a Twins outfielder after so many robberies over the years.

Jim Thome-He's pretty strong
QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jun 4, 2008 -> 09:53 PM) Actually that's not the case, it was his 518th career homerun. From the way Hawk and DJ are talking here in the 6th the official measurement was under 500 feet but thus far they've yet to give a number. (from what I've heard at least) Ahhh...because an inning ago they were saying they didn't have the tools to measure a ball that far to center and I was confused. I still feel like he said 518 feet, even if he misspoke.
