  1. I really think in 2020 NBA Shaq would see a lot less defensive collapses so as to prevent the kick out three point game. I think his shooting percentage would go up a significant amount.
  2. Dig into the state by state 2016 results. It was amazingly close despite the 304-227 final tally.
  3. Honestly, we are talking about either a narrow percentage of defections in key states, a narrow percentage of non-2016 voters for the Dems showing up in November, or a combination thereof. The electoral results looked bigger than the underlying data really showed. I looked at it at one point, and under 100,000 votes in a few states overturns 2016.
  4. This is unreal, yet par for the history of the VA all at the same time. I think every single person in the country needs to read this tweet. 2200 VA employees have tested COVID positive. Two thousand, two hundred. The people caring for our vets again are woefully understaffed, under-equipped and underfunded. Where is all that respect for Veterans at again?
  5. He was waiting for someone to beat $326. The Phillies did it.
  6. Is the timeline sufficient to where it would have been in the midwest around mid December? That is about the start of the actual spread in China from what I had read before.
  7. Absolutely. But we aren't charging anyone for manslaughter for their actions.
  8. I mean it wouldn't surprise me if there was an earlier gestation date in the US, but my illness wasn't much after it is expected to have first emerged in China. Late Jan illnesses I could see, but late December is harder to rationalize.
  9. From Christmas Eve to January 3rd I ran a fever every single day. Top end got near 104, but with Advil was typically controllable in the 100 to 101 range. A really nasty dry cough came along around New Years Day, and lasted for a couple of weeks, even while taking serious decongestants. At that point I lost my voice for about a week, and still have vocal problems to this day. Ended up getting diagnosed with Pneumonia on Jan 2, went through 3 rounds of steroids and treatments to clear it completely up. Tested negative for the Flu. I know the first case in the US was designated on Jan 20 in Washington state, but in restrospect every single symptom of this was COVID. No idea how I would have had it a month early, but holy cow I have never been more sick or hit as hard as this hit me.
  10. The White House is closed to tours, and isn't doing public events. Capitol Hill is closed to tours, and Congress refuses to come back into session due to their safety. The Supreme Count is closed to the public and is not doing in person arguments, instead is doing them by phone. The biggest Christian church in the world's headquarters has cancelled all public events through at least June. The leader of the worlds biggest Christian church is doing services on-line for their flock and not in person. If you really believe that things are safe, you sure aren't paying attention to what the people who have the insider information in this case are actually doing. While some leaders might be telling you we are ready to reopen, they sure aren't acting like it.
  11. The idea is pretty straight forward. If you know your are engaging in behavior that could result in the death of another person, you can get held responsible for your actions and their results. If you take your gun out and randomly shoot it into the air, and eventually a bullet falls from the sky and kills a person, that is manslaughter. You didn't mean to kill a person, you didn't know you would kill a person, and it was never your intent for the bullet to hit someone. But a reasonable person knows that their actions could kill someone in that situation, and you will be charged if caught. You know you could have COVID and be asymptomatic for a long period of time. You know you could spread it for a long period of time without ever knowing you are infected. You also know that wearing masks greatly reduces the odds that you will pass along the virus. The similarities are striking to me.
  12. I will amend to say barefoot in the house and yard.
  13. The funny thing is the GOP has the highest numbers in the demographic they are looking to kill off.
  14. 3 trillion in this past quarter.
  15. And by finding a vaccine, he means, profiting off of a vaccine.
  16. I mean I know WHY, I am just making the point that it is garbage that we treat two similar situations completely differently.
  17. I have mentioned this in other places, but if you knowingly infect someone with AIDS it is a felony. Why isn't infecting someone because you don't wear a mask the same level of crime?
  18. Leave the glasses behind, unfortunately they can't do anything about the big head.
  19. That was back when they were all about the national debt and deficit.
  20. Its all about the cash. https://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/watch/ousted-hhs-official-files-whistleblower-complaint-on-coronavirus-response-83050053767?cid=sm_npd_ms_fb_ma&fbclid=IwAR2rJ-ozGluePDplxWD_fwyaPIObAX1eBtw7lrtyCDanTEhGRRv5KUhHico
  21. Like I said, step one will be to eliminate information so that the stats can't be accurately tracked and easily disavowed.
  22. If our economy is so fragile that it is going to collapse that quickly while Chinas does not after similar problems, that should be a red flag right there.
