  1. It amazes me that in the 21st century that we avoid showing smoking on TV because of how afraid we are that it will influence kids to smoke, but we headline this kind of stuff with no apparent though by the same media ownership groups that it will influence anyone.
  2. He'd be an idiot not to take that, and the players association would fucking love him for that. Consider this. Anderson's 6 year $25 million deal can push to 8/$50.5 if the Sox pick up the options, and that was a record for players with one year or service or less.
  3. Let's be honest, all of the same people who 20 years ago were calling things "relationships between consenting adults" are perfectly willing to dig into the Stormy/Trump thing for political gain. It absolutely has to do with the letter after the name
  4. Sure. And expanding off of that, I would put the odds at about 100:1 of a Sept18 call up for Trey.
  5. The Bulls haven't had an attendance problem since the first half of the 1980's. They haven't been below 18k a night since 1986.
  6. Under. That is 9 per starter, and Kopech hasn't gone more than 6 innings this season, K's 9 or more only 1 time. Cease has only been 9 or more 1 time. Dunning's season high is 8. I'd say 21.
  7. That is is great news. Getting him back this year would be awesome.
  8. When Burdi has his surgery, they said 2019.
  9. Optimism? Sure? September call up? Uh, no. Let's see him sustain what he started and prove this isn't a BABIP fluke first.
  10. I would have loved to have seen exit velocity stats around when Bo was in his prime.
  11. Picture yourself as a lefty having to deal with that fastball tailing back towards the inside corner.
  12. I am honestly surprised this has not happened more often in recent times with the tones that politics and its discussions have moved to.
  13. I would LOVE to see them trade Russell for a rental.
  14. He's nobody right now. He's got a fair amount of work to do to put himself back on the radar for the major league track right now.
  15. Agreed 100%. Mid-April is time one, and then Mid-June is time two.
  16. If you wait until May, you might as well wait through mid June. Realistically the one way we shouldn't see Eloy relatively soon is if he runs into a roadblock at AAA.
