  1. Designated Survivor is also getting the axe.
  2. He has a lot of Chris Sale in him with a big arm, but big emotions to match.
  3. I would bet you any amount of money that the Sox win 52 or more games.
  4. You are killing it tonight Tony.
  5. It will come in stretches. This team will get hot soon enough and the people will start talking playoffs and being upset about the draft pick again.
  6. Yeah if I was in the pitching staff or OF at Charlotte I'd be pretty nervous right now. One those decisions get made, a lot of reverberations thru the system will happen.
  7. It also won't be a 41 win team. But take away two top position players and the top starter away from a 70 win team and that tends to happen.
  8. I am sure he is telling them to walk people.
  9. When you are talking about young pitching, regression shouldn't be a surprise, especially from someone who has been so up and down anyway. We saw the same from him last year. He was terrible for a large portion of the season with diminished stuff. That alone leaves the door open to it happening again. Especially when you contrast what he has done with Reynaldo's time here being about as good as could be expected, having somebody regress isn't really that big of a surprise. I will also promise you that Kopech will go through the same crazy ups and downs when he gets here. Don't be shocked when it happens.
  10. Giolito has been very up and down for a number of years now. Miguel Gonzalez is on the DL for being hurt, and definitely had diminished stuff when he was out there.
  11. People were living in a fantasy land if they expected the young pitchers to come in and dominate right away.
  12. Totally this. It continues to blow my mind when people act like they didn't expect being bad to look bad. This is what rebuilding looks like.
  13. Apparently the play in RF had a 99% catch probability.
  14. Yikes. Almost turned that into a triple.
  15. Ugh. Soria wasn't the target of that trade. Avilan was. They essentially got Avilan given to them because they were willing to take on Soria's salary, and make the rest of the deal work for LA and KC.
  16. Eh, it is still in the second year of the rebuild. The Sox are basically conducting open auditions for the bullpen at this point. They really don't care about having a bullpen that can win games, but seeing if any of these guys have either value or use in the future.
  17. His swing looks long and high effort to me.
  18. When you are an American league team who has a pitcher who has a career total of 20 PAs and last hit in 2016, it happens more often than if you were an NL team who was drilled on playing this type of baesball.
  19. A replay on the Cubs feed just confirmed it.
