Why? You don't seem to be able to handle it either.

Can't you get it through your head that you are a grown up who doesn't need to do things that hurts his poor little feelings?

I'd take that action.

This team wasn't built to be anything but to offer openings to guys who are the leading edge of the rebuild, or could be useful pieces going forward. Guys are learning on the job, and that is exactly what was meant to happen here. Players will get better, and more talent will show up as the season goes on. Those that don't get better eventually be replaced by the next people in line.

So walk away. Come back in a few years when the bandwagon backs up again.

Classy.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Sounds like a house bet to me.

If they offer him the most money, yes.

The sooner people quit stressing about the minutia of the rebuild the better of they would be. Nate Jones blowing a game in the second year of the rebuild has zero impact on anything for the future of this franchise. None.

I know it is fashionable to be the first to quit on things, but I feel like this team will improve as the season goes on and more talent shows up at the higher levels and guys who are hear already start to work through learning at the major league level.

It literally does not matter who Ricky runs out there right now.

Nate jones on for the 8th.

Palka gets the unpitched IBB.

That was a laser the other way from Castillo.

Fry with another nice strikeout. He is looking excellent this time around.

That was a nasty breaking ball on strike 3 by Fry.

Lopez is out after 100 pitches and 7 1/3 innings. The IP total is the highest of his career. He goes off of the field to a nice standing ovation from the crowd.

Thompson takes over in LF. I think that leaves only Omar on the bench.

Rey is going back out for the 8th inning, at least to start.

Very nice bounceback inning for Lopez. He is still under 100 pitches through 7.

Palka with a nice jump on that steal.

Palka goes the other way on a ball just off the outer half. If he can do that regularly, that would be huge for his career.

That was about 2 feet from being a tie ballgame.

Omar Vizquel is apparently on the phone live with the TV broadcast.
