  1. This isn't a bad point. Those who cuck Ozzie probably don't want him to Tony LaRussa his career by coming back to look like a moron with this bunch. Leave the fantasy in tact. Let me walk away all dreamy and not as a part of this dumpster fire.
  2. Thanks Mr Obvious, you're a lifesaver.
  3. 4/75 would probably be in the ballpark of MV.
  4. Sure, but he could have done that at any point for years now and didn't. And now he is only a couple of years away
  5. We need so many position players right now, especially ones with superstar tops.
  6. The ladies love Nicky.
  7. I never feel bad for taking money, I hope they don't either.
  8. 69 games 68 different line ups
  9. Hahn computer 1 Law 0
  10. Start with half of your payroll on the IL and go from there.
  11. Law does that to a lot of guys Sox fans irrationally attach to.
  12. Yeah, and I wouldn't blame him. They jacked around with him and his future for 4 years now. Unless we front him a decent amount over what he would get in arbitration the next two years, I have yet to see a contract idea that matches his and the Sox considerations.
  13. Just about the amount left for Pedro's deal, oops.
  14. Well he ought to be a great teacher then.
  15. It's a half season after the longest season of his life. If it wasn't for the weird Sox civil war that happened here, we'd never think twice about it.
  16. It is obviously Martin Maldonado
  17. Hitting. If this dude could hit at all, he'd be on a major league roster for the next 15 years. I don't even mean as a guy who hits a ton, but get on base on an OK clip, and the speed and defense will carry the rest.
  18. If his price today was cheap, we would have already resigned him. The kid is two years and four months from free agency. If he has made it this far without extending, I would bet money he has no intention of doing so right now. If he has any sense at all, he is looking at the market for pitching and not being willing to give away free agent years unless he gets a lot more money in the next two years, plus some decent money in his free agent years. If Tyler Glasnow is a $27.5 million pitcher for 5 years, Garrett has to be thinking the same thing of himself.
  19. And a hitter. Now we have neither.
