Fire Pedro Grifol
This isn't a bad point. Those who cuck Ozzie probably don't want him to Tony LaRussa his career by coming back to look like a moron with this bunch. Leave the fantasy in tact. Let me walk away all dreamy and not as a part of this dumpster fire.

4/75 would probably be in the ballpark of MV.

Sure, but he could have done that at any point for years now and didn't. And now he is only a couple of years away

Law does that to a lot of guys Sox fans irrationally attach to.- Story on Sox trade possibilities...
Yeah, and I wouldn't blame him. They jacked around with him and his future for 4 years now. Unless we front him a decent amount over what he would get in arbitration the next two years, I have yet to see a contract idea that matches his and the Sox considerations.- Steve Wilson back, Tim Hill DFAd
Just about the amount left for Pedro's deal, oops.- 6/12 Games
Well he ought to be a great teacher then.- 6/12 Games
It's a half season after the longest season of his life. If it wasn't for the weird Sox civil war that happened here, we'd never think twice about it.- Steve Wilson back, Tim Hill DFAd

It is obviously Martin Maldonado- 3 injury updates
Hitting. If this dude could hit at all, he'd be on a major league roster for the next 15 years. I don't even mean as a guy who hits a ton, but get on base on an OK clip, and the speed and defense will carry the rest.- Story on Sox trade possibilities...
If his price today was cheap, we would have already resigned him. The kid is two years and four months from free agency. If he has made it this far without extending, I would bet money he has no intention of doing so right now. If he has any sense at all, he is looking at the market for pitching and not being willing to give away free agent years unless he gets a lot more money in the next two years, plus some decent money in his free agent years. If Tyler Glasnow is a $27.5 million pitcher for 5 years, Garrett has to be thinking the same thing of himself.- 3 injury updates
And a hitter. Now we have neither.
