  1. Konerko shouldn't have been playing much this year either. But how does Konerko's play justify what Billy Koch is doing?
  2. He has been horrible this year. If Koch has an era of even 4, we would be games in front of MN and KC. Let alone if he had a year worth mentioning for a closer.

Jim Parque, 164. Not even in Kilometers per hour

My source (baseball specific refrence) has it at 100.9, not 101.9. And at 100.9, there are 9 pitchers ahead of him. OK

http://www.smackbomb.com/nolanryan/records.html Its even in the Guiness book of world records. Have 5 people passed that already?

    OK scratch Percival then

And they had Troy Percival at 102 Mph on the gun the other day in Det, right before he threw the walkoff HR to Brandon Inge. I don't know if that was a good speed or not.

    Nolan Ryan 101.9 mph!

  10. Exactly, that means the team is backing them up!

  12. I am going to try to go to one of the Cleveland games that weekend. It all depends on how money is, but I am aching to go, and it is 1983 weekend if I understand it right.
  13. You might want to try the help board! I don't know if one of our wonderful Admins can move this thread there...
  14. I concure. And also the idea of rating threads, for lack of a better discription, sucks. I would be willing to bet that it would just turn into popularity contests, and pissing contests. I could just see it letting open wounds fester. Not a good idea at all IMHO.
  15. First off, I AM the world's biggest Carlos Lee fan. Secondly, Carlos truly does deserve his props for what he's done this season. He's been leading the team in many major offensive categories!!! third of all........ :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke How can you not give Carlos his props at this point? He's been very solid, in all aspects, this season. Some people never change their minds, no matter what the evidence.
  16. This means we HAVE to beat one of Wells or Pettite in the first two games. There is no way we can put the pressure of preventing a sweep in NY on a guy making his 4th career start.
  17. So where did the radio guys get the authority to threaten season ticket holders? Unless they had the backing of the team, there is no way that John or Ed did this on their own.
