Yeah it is kind of a bummer to lose the last game after a 6 game winning streak, but all in all it was a great homestand. You really couldn't have asked for anything more. All 7 of the starts by the starters were quality starts. The Sox held the Rangers to 9 ER in 4 games! The offense looked incredible until today. Frank Thomas was a huge stud with his 4 HR's. Now we just need to figure out how to bottle this team and take it on the road!

I hate to say it but Thompson just pitched a great game against us. He located his pitches well, and seemed like he was 0-2 on just about every hitter. Jon pitched great also, but just made the one mistake to Blalock. After seeing the Rangers for 7 games, if they can find any kind of pitching they will be a good team. Their offense is still scary, even without guys like Everett and Gonzalez.

I can't remember what the first round cost, but if you buy them as a non season ticket holder, and they don't play the game, they will refund your money, minus any ticket fees.

3-5 mpg is a BIG difference when you are talking about millions of SUV's driving billions of miles. That is a whole lot more oil need. ONE mpg makes a huge dent when you consider at 20 mpg (A high estimate for SUV's) that is a 5% reduction in mpg. 5 mpg is a 25% raise in effecency!

I have a question for you if you check this again soon, what is it like to see your teammates and friends traded away? This has got to be something different to deal with, as these are some of the guys who you have worked your way up through the system with. Any personal thoughts from the locker room on how this affects you, and affects the teams in the minors. Thanks in Advance

Hell Ya Neal!!! I had a feeling that something clicked after than 2nd inning in his start in Arlington. Almost like a light when on and Neal finally thought, hey I CAN get these guys out with my stuff. I don't have to trick them, I just have to do what got me here. And then he goes out and only gives up one run to a damned good offense. BTW the shaving creme pies during the post game interview were great as well!

Greer's career is over from the sounds of it. He had some major surgery, I can't remember what it was now.
