  1. WE'RE NOT WORTHY!!!
  2. I hate to rain on parades, but Tony is best in small doses. He is a great spark plug, but still shouldn't start more than 2-3 times a week. He is dangerous as an unknown, but if pitchers see him too much becomes ineffective. Plus his D is scary...
  3. Yes that is the announced match up.
  4. Thanks K dub! It was a little shorter than I thought, but a BOMB none the less! For Frank!
  5. NO ground gained today
  6. Wrong thread Jas
  7. Ah the good old days...
  8. The "old" days they didn't throw the way they do now in between starts, and they didn't have the variety of off speed stuff that they do now. Pitchers are putting way more strain on their elbows and shoulders than they ever used to do.

  10. Gee do you think this comes from the fact that he, Wood and Zambrano are all in the top 5 or so in pitches per start in the NL? http://espn.go.com/mlb/news/2003/0720/1583188.html
  11. We have, Michigan City aka "The Region" basically.
  12. Portland and Dallas could only offer the minimum. If he was going to take the $5 mil from the Bulls they could only offer $1.8 mil. They tried to convince him to come, but there is no point in making an offer if there is that Pippen was pretty sure about Chicago.
  13. He could get it tommorrow with Terry Mullholand starting for the Tribe...
  14. The overall level of play hasn't changed that much, IMO. Heck they just had first round draft picks in back to back years with Jeffries and Zack Randolph. Plus they have turned out guys like Bonzi Wells and others who have been contributing.
  15. He has raised his average almost 35 points, since he bottomed out at .181
  16. They are also a team in turmoil. I imagine that clubhouse just sucks right now.
  17. We CAN, but can we sustain the recent offensive revival, while keeping our pitching?
  18. This is what we should have been doing all year against f***ing Detroit.
  19. Gary Glover comes on to pitch the 8th. Good, we need to get him and Sanders regular work, if they are going to be worth a damn down the stretch.
  20. Crede is the only starter without a hit.
  21. Loiaza through 7 innings. 93 pitches, 7k's, 1BB, 5 hits, and just the one ER, a 345 foot HR that just barely stayed fair by Munson.
  22. Dude, if we lose this game...
  23. ???? San Antonio and Dallas wanted him. Portland also talked about bringing him back, but couldn't afford it.
  24. How could you help but notice? They went from having 35-40 K at some state finals to not even filling the building at Conseco for the A/AA games and some years just making it for AAA/AAAA.
  25. KONERKO DOES YARD WORK!!!! 8-1 Sox!!!
