no, tonight's game is a microcosm - we handily beat a team on the road that used to crush in their home park. never get too down about a loss or too up about a victory and no one game is an omen, really. Solid advice. We should put this up on the front page as a banner somewhere for certian people to read over and over again.

Home You left out the big screen TV, stereo system, video game system of choice, and computer! I had a 32 inch tv in my dorm room last year, and it's goin in the apartment this year. Pretty ridiculous eh? Stereo, covered Computer, covered Video game system, PS2...with mostly NCAA with some Madden and NHL played See, now that's what I am talking about!

Gambling on the game of baseball and associating with known felons is very clearly prohibited by the rules of baseball. I don't get the outpouring of sympathy for Pete Rose. The rules are VERY clear, there is no gray area at all. Why should there not be consequences for doing what he KNEW was wrong? That is like saying that people like Michael Milken should still be trading because they made a lot of money doing it.
