AV tests
I figured out what I wanted to. I don't know if the Admins can erase the first post in a thread or not, but I erased all of the rest of my practices, and couldn't erase the original post... If any of you wants to just nuke the whole thread, feel free.

D'angelo Jimenez
I've been trying to woo Sidney her for 3 years now . He would love to come to Chicago.. but not to the Sox. I am sure he is out of price range anyway...

D'angelo Jimenez
Ponson sure as hell looked good against us last night. I wouldn't have minded seeing him in the middle of our rotation. He seems to be able to move his pitches around the plate fairly effectively. I don't know much about Lawrence though...

D'angelo Jimenez
http://www.soxtalk.com/index.php?act=ST&f=2&t=600 I looked it up myself and this thread had almost 7000 hits! And it figures it was a rumors thread. There were quite a few over 1000 hits though.

bring up wright
I think the 12 man staff is a much better idea rather than the extra guy on the bench. There have been a few cases this year, where we could have used a long reliever to save our pen, and instead we had to extend guys like Whte, Glover and Wunsch.

3000 hits. Man I would bet, without even looking that there was some huge namecalling going on in that thread!

Iraq had money to rebuild all along
I have read #'s that said Hussein has mad $6-8 billion off of the oil that was supposed to be feeding his people.

Joe Borchard
Has anyone heard anything new on Joe's condition? Is he about to start playing again, or is he going to be out for a while.

Garland on his way down?
Ummmm .... do you know something? lets just say i have heard things...............nothing official yet but ....something to worry about just the same........ ok, here is a list of players who might be hurting sandy, paulie and jon garland which i do not think so. I would sub Koch for Sandy. His Fastball is at least 5 mph slow... that saids possible injury to me.

Awesome!!!!!
Not a good year for the usual suspects in the Western Confrence this year. Detroit-Gone, St Louis-Gone, Colorado-Gone. The western confrence could be wide open for Dallas and Marty Turco... then again if the first round is any indication, who knows?

Loaiza
I think I have said this before but I have read 3 interesting things about Loiaza. #1 He used to only have 3 pitches and routinely abandoned one of them during the games he pitched. When he came here they taught him the Mark Buehrle cutter and Don Cooper quizzes him between innings on what pitches he threw to what hitters to keep him thinking of all of his pitches #2 He had no really in between start routine that he stuck to. The first thing I saw in the Tribs write up was that he has started a 15 minute stationary bike riding after his starts. In other words he now has starting something. I am sure that Cooper has him doing other stuff also. #3 He threw too many strikes with Toronto. Hitters could just pick a zone against him, and knowing that he only had two pitches it was almost like hitting off of a tee.

KC leads 4-0
I wonder how quickly the Twins bandwagon will start to empty if they stick around .500 for too much longer?
-
Garland will be just fine....
And did anyone else notice that Garland and Wright are pitching on the same days right now? This could make Garlands move out of the rotation much easier to do.

I'm going to see the Sox
Just don't throw your cell phone at him

18 games!!!
And that is the scariest part of Maggs hitting streak is that I don't think he is locked in yet. He has just become that good of a hitter, that even not hot, he is still better than most.

Baines
The newspaper said the gun at Camden clocked Koch at 95mph, which is still about 5 mph below where he should be. There might be some warning signs that something is wrong IMO.
-
the look
I don't care what he is hitting if he is costing us potential runs with a lazy attitude. That is the kind of stuff players can control and will save us runs against in the long run.
-
the look
Like I said before this was crystal clear in the KC game where Frank got hit and took two steps towards Ascencio and both the benches and bullpens cleared to back him up.

Stiffer Penalty for Trespassers
I think we all will be in some trouble at that point

Sox @ Orioles
Damn it EL gives up a one out HR and gets the hook from JM.
-
Sox @ Orioles
Huge run as Pauly drives in a run from 3rd with one out for a single giving the Sox a three run cushion and letting Loiaza go out for the 9th.
-
Sox @ Orioles
6 K's 7 in a row retired by EL. Another great outing so far.
