Give Frank a shot for a while at 1B, what't the worst that could happen? He doesn't hit in the clutch? Hell he hasn't done that all year anyway, and neither has Konerko. If Frank can do it, let him play first. At least one of the two would be hitting.

Why should you be excited? One game is just that, one game. We are 7 1/2 games back, when we start to cut into that, then maybe I'll get excited.

I have noticed that Joe does foul off a lot of pitches. He seems to get down in the count and keep swinging.

As long as Royce Clayton is in this league, that question is answered. Heck as long as Rick White is around, Pauly isn't even the worst on his own team!

Of all of the things you can say about JM, that he lacks class isn't one of them. I do agree that his style is WAY too much like Torre's and I don't think he would be a good successor to JM just because of that.

To call it a blow out is misleading the game was 2-0 at most up until the 9th inning. It was a well played nip and tuck game. The final score was a fluke and totally misrepresented how the game actually went.

Royce Ring baby! Another 1 1/3 scoreless innings with 2 K's. Is there any doubt that Royce will be a call up if someone is dealt out of the pen? The only guy who could possilbly be considered is Matt Ginter IMO. MAYBE Munoz, if he keeps up what he has been doing as of late.

He was never really challenged IMO. He did everything he was supposed to though.

That stuff is pretty cutting edge for the majors, I would be shocked to see that anytime soon in the minors. The equiptment costs have to be prohibitive.

You what I screwed up, for whatever reason I wasn't even looking at Maggs. Probably because of when he hit it, I had been looking at the box score in the top of top of the 8th to see who won. The 3 run homer by Maggs was worth 8 points by itself. Plus his walk and other run scored made 10 points to 7 for Jimenez. The Maggs pickers were TexSox, HSC, SoxfaninBeverly, IDSeer, and Steff. Sorry about the mix up, thanks for paying attention to all!!!
