You know what's funny?
I know I will be waiting impatiently as usual. Maybe by Wed the jet lag, or whatever, will have worn off and the big bats will appear to save the day!!!

Why Cub fans are dumbasses, Reason #40559343843309
Print those world series tickets The Cubs are going! Oh wait, you mean it isn't even April yet? Nevermind

Everyone is kinda touchy right now
It is March, so maybe the baseball Gods are confused and think that this is still spring training or something...
-
Poster levels
thanks for the info.

first game of the year and I'm already frustrated.
There are some days you can really tell this team lacks motivation. There in lies the frustrating days...

Sox @ KC -- Opening Day
If I may be so rude as to jump in here... Why keep this going?
-
Jeter hurts shoulder
On ESPN They said it is definately a shoulder injury. At least a separation...
-
Everyone is kinda touchy right now
We might have some jumpers if it gets to 0-2. The Hancock observatory might not be able to handle all of 'em!
-
Ventura does yard work
Adding the the Ex-Sox success rate of today, Robin gets a 2 run dinger off of Halliday.

Everyone is kinda touchy right now
I did notice how many new posters there were when I was looking at the dates people had signed up on. I guess we will see!

Some pros and cons
Really if you throw out the lackluster preformance of the offense, today wasn't that bad. I do like the fact that we did have some gems on D, including the two runners cut down at the plate, and the diving catch in CF by Rowand.

Everyone is kinda touchy right now
Is it always like this in here after a loss? Man the trolls on ESPN don't seem quite so bad, as everyone eating their young in here. Please tell me that this isn't the norm here.

Jeter hurts shoulder
Man they have the backboard and cart out there for him. THis doesn't look good. Well at least he is walking to the cart. Ugh. you hate to see that happen to anyone.

Sox Press Release on Renovations
That fan deck looks pretty cool. And the scoreboard looks pretty sweet too. Anyway I will be there on Friday to check it out myself.

13th straight year
Where are you at?

The thing that bothers me
Could be. I hadn't really thought about that til you posted it. That sounds like more of a NBA schedule, than an MLB schedule. But leave it to Jerry R to have his team running around like fools trying to make a few extra bucks before the regular season. I think I read that only like 6 teams played yesterday.
-
Poster levels
I notice that each poster has a level based on how many posts they have made. Anyone know how many posts go to each level?
-
The thing that bothers me
It shouldn't matter where we start. As a matter of a fact they should know that these are the teams that we should be getting fat on. The bottom feeder teams of the league we need to kill so that if we play like crap against the AL West or the Twins again, we have some padding.

Let's have a "I've already given up Thread"
I would just like to chime in and name this the Completely Uselss By September thread... aka the CUBS thread.

LEE
Carlos Lee just reminds me of Sammy Sosa at his age so much. He always seems to be two steps behind and in a fog all at the sametime. I am hoping after reading about Frank Thomas trying to motivate him to work harder, that he will finally "get it" I can't sell him short after one game. C'mon Carlos make this your year!!!

first game of the year and I'm already frustrated.
Someone has to be 3rd in our division...

13th straight year
I have nothing against us starting on the road. I like the idea of not having baseball in Chicago in March! Hopefully it will be 30 degrees warmer by Friday so I don't freeze my ass off on openning day.
-
The thing that bothers me
Is how flat we looked today. There really didn't look like a lot of emotion. For godsakes its openning day. It looked like we were in a mid summer fog today. No one really seemed to be into it. If we see a couple more of these kind of outings can a Manuel firing be far behind?

Sox @ KC -- Opening Day
and he gets shot down at home, with an infield nubber.

Grimsley on for KC
Thank God Hernandez is out of there!
