I think the time zones will stay the same, but if they change, Central makes more sense. Imagine if we go Eastern it'll be light outside at 9:30pm.

QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Apr 28, 2005 -> 10:26 PM) I barely watch Foxnews anymore mainly because I find Joe Scarborough much more attractive than Greta Van Sustren. During my time with Foxnews and listening to Hannity and Rush on the radio, it was just obvious that they were handed documents and agendum by the same person. That begin said, watching and listening for more than an hour became grossly repeatative. On to ESPN.... I've just felt over the course of a few months ESPN seems to have caught on to this form of broadcasting. Between Mike and Mike and Dan Patrick (Ever since Rob Dibble left the Dan Patrick Show its gone down hill) , Sportscenter and the sports talking heads (by the way steven a smith, the angry black man routine is WAY over done), I feel like I hear the same damn opinions on the same subjects no matter what time of day it is. The only exception, though he tends to do it from time to time, is Colin Cowherd. I get soooo sick of it, I just find myself turning the radio off all together. anyone else feel this way? FWIW, Hannity is on in New York immediately after Rush. That may have something to do with why they talk about the same thing.

QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Apr 29, 2005 -> 09:36 AM) They love a part of their body -- it is not disruptive and does not cause a threat to school discipline, so the school technically according to the SC has no recourse legally to ban them from using the shirts. Not disruptive? There's a law suit. That sounds disruptive to me. School uniforms would solve all of this.

QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Apr 29, 2005 -> 09:13 AM) The ACLU -- supporting free speech, even for its detractors since 1920. It's indecent and doesn't need to be in our public schools. It's not an issue of free speech at all.

QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Apr 29, 2005 -> 08:29 AM) http://www.suntimes.com/output/sox/cst-nws-sox29.html Great stuff. This team seem to be a bunch of fun guys.

QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 29, 2005 -> 06:29 AM) Update on this story: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7677130/ Well, I guess they get out of having to pay taxes now.

ACLU at it again? When are they going to realize that they're a joke? :rolly

The logos are always goofy. This one is on the tame side.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Apr 28, 2005 -> 09:11 AM) The public obsession with who celebrites date and where celebrities eat has always confused me. Is it fascinating because we think we know them, or what? I honestly don't get it. Me neither.

Man, he gets a lot of hot chicks, for being gay.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 28, 2005 -> 06:28 AM) I think we already saw how they would react to this. They gutted this game out, when they had a built in excuse to fold. Freddy Garcia went out and gave an excellent preformance. I really hope that in the Hunter BS, this does not get forgotten. Garcia put this team on his back, and almost singlehandedly won the game, dispite the odds. I am extremely proud of this team after today. I wish I could be there Friday to give them a standing O. Great post, Mike. I agree.

Poor guys work 6 months a year and make millions of dollars. It's a shame they can't have this day off to sit on their asses. :rolly

QUOTE(The Critic @ Apr 28, 2005 -> 06:32 AM) He leaned into it and it should have been called. Doesn't matter to me if it's never called against Biggio or anyone else. It was blatant and obvious. Crede's inability to get over it was what bothered me. That's all well and good, but I'll only be happy when they start calling it on a big name player like Barry Bonds, etc.

I'm wondering the same thing.

QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 10:39 AM) I'm too weak today... but when I'm back to 100%... your ass is grass!! LMAO!

QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 10:37 AM) Think this would have clued me in... ? "A pregnant woman in the taxi was among 11 people injured in Monday morning's crash" Duh... I'll let it slide. You're female.

QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 10:04 AM) Yep. The money grubbers missed it in 1929, but they'll get it now. Plus interest.

QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 10:34 AM) Can we agree to say it's difficult to evaluate the quality of a politically charged film? Quality? Absolutely! Accuracy of content? No.

This happened Monday. Just saying.
-
QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 10:29 AM) Well the issue brought up by the film is that basically al-Qaeda has been invented to create a phantom enemy for Leo Strauss followers so they could keep and increase their power. So, who flew those planes? Phantoms? Somebody call Scooby Doo!
-
QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 10:26 AM) So I should just accept it from people that didn't see it that it was bad, no f'n way. We're not talking about good vs. bad here. We're talking about it being full of holes and pretty mush been proven to be full of s*** on a lot of different points. You compared this to the film in the OP. We thought that was funny.
-
QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 10:16 AM) Wow Republican supporters laughing off the issue. I'm flabbergasted What is the issue? That we gave them their name? OK? There's still bad guys out there that want to kill us. How does this change that?

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 10:07 AM) Guys that was sarcasm... I got it, Mike.

QUOTE(ISF @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 10:02 AM) Don't see the problem. Nothing more than pleasantries there. He was kidding.

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 09:56 AM) You're negative and pathetic. And realistic to the ways of our Government.
